Objective: Pre-diabetes is the inevitable stage of type 2 diabetes and the only reversible golden period,so it is very important to implement effective intervention.According to the characteristics of pre-diabetes population, this study made a rational exercise and management plan, aiming at exploring the effects of exercise intervention on plasma glucose, insulin, plasma lipid metabolism and quality of life of pre-diabetes population, and providing theoretical and practical basis for controlling or reversing the development of pre-diabetes.Methods: In this study, the subjects were recruited in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University. After removing the shedding patients,a total of 26 pre-diabetic subjects, aged between 40 and 60,was included and randomly divided into two groups. The subjects in the experimental group were given the exercise intervention for 8 weeks, which took the form of elastic belt resistance training combined with walking, three times a week, each time about 60 minutes. The subjects in the control group were not given any exercise intervention. Before and after the intervention, plasma glucose, insulin and plasma lipid of the subjects were tested, and their quality of life was investigated. The relevant data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 software.Results:(1)After the exercise intervention, fasting plasma glucose and 2 hours postprandial plasma glucose in the experimental group decreased significantly(P<0.05),which was significantly different from that in the control group(P<0.05).And the negative rate of plasma glucose was 23.08%.Among insulin secretion indexes, fasting insulin,2 hours postprandial insulin and insulin resistance index decreased significantly(P<0.05).However,although the islet β cell function index and insulin sensitivity index has an upward trend, there is no statistical significance(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, there was a significant difference in 2 hours postprandial insulin in the experimental group(P<0.05).(2)After the exercise intervention, the total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein in the experimental group was significantly improved(P<0.05).Although the concentration of triglyceride and low density lipoprotein decreased, there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, triglyceride and high density lipoprotein in the experimental group were significantly different(P<0.05).(3)After the exercise intervention, the physiological health and mental health of the experimental group improved significantly, among which physiological function, general health, vitality, mental health and total score increased significantly(P<0.05),while other indexes had no significant change(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Eight-week elastic belt resistance training combined with brisk walking can significantly improve the plasma glucose level of the pre-diabetic population, and to a certain extent, reduce the plasma glucose to normal, which is beneficial to the benign outcome of the pre-diabetic patients. In addition,it can improve insulin secretion and reduce insulin resistance, which provides a basis for the disease control of patients with pre-diabetes.(2)Eight-week elastic belt resistance training combined with walking can improve the lipid metabolism of pre-diabetes population, and the effects of total cholesterol and high density lipoprotein are significant.(3)Eight-week elastic belt resistance training combined with walking can improve the quality of life of pre-diabetic people, and improve their physical health and mental health scores.
