Objective: To investigate the factors that affect the amputation level and prognosis of patients with lower extremity arterial ischemia diseases. Methods: We collect clinical data of patients who suffered amputation in department of vascular surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2010 to October 2021.Logistic regression analysis and cox model are used to evaluate the relationship between diverse factors and amputation or prognosis of those patients. Results: Age over 60 years(OR=4.408,95% CI=1.940-10.016),course of disease less than 2 weeks(OR=6.800,95% CI=2.855-16.194),TASC II D type(OR=10.266,95% CI=1.848-12.792)and D-D over 0.05mg/L(OR=4.759,95% CI=1.200-41.005)are risk factors of higher amputation level.Patients with Fontaine stage IV tend to get lower amputation level(OR=0.186,95% CI=0.086-0.046).Diabetes(OR=7.332,95% CI=2.793-19.245),coronary heart disease(OR=4.644,95%CI=1.568-13.760),cerebrovascular disease(OR=3.964,95%CI=1.177-13.354),and major amputation(OR=4.519,95%CI=1.185-17.231)are independent risk factors of 30-day mortality in lower extremity amputation patients(P-value less than 0.05).Diabetes(HR=2.906,95% CI=1.732-4.877),coronary heart disease(HR=3.185,95% CI=1.750-5.796)and major amputation(HR=4.324,95%CI=1.944-9.619)are independent risk factors of 1-year mortality in lower extremity amputation patients(P-value less than 0.001).Conclusion: Age over 60 years, course of disease less than 2 weeks,TASC II D type and D-D over 0.05mg/L are risk factors of amputation patients’ suffering higher amputation level.Diabetes, coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease and major amputation are independent risk factors of 30-day mortality in lower extremity amputation patients.Diabetes, coronary heart disease and major amputation are independent risk factors of 1-year mortality in lower extremity amputation patients.
