Research On Risk Communication Mechanism Of Public Health Emergencies

In recent years,public health emergencies occur frequently,and more and more people pay attention to it.The emergency public health events have the dynamic change laws of superposition,coupling and variation.If effective measures are not taken to deal with the emergency public health events,the public health emergencies will bring great harm to the country and society.Since the risk communication was put forward in 1970s,it plays an important role in dealing with public health emergencies,and has become an important part of many countries in the process of dealing with public health emergencies.Risk communication is a bridge and link between the government and relevant departments,experts and other subjects and audiences.It can help the audience overcome the anxiety,fear and other negative emotions caused by public health emergencies,strengthen the trust of the audience to the government,relevant departments,experts and other subjects,reduce the panic of the audience,so as to better deal with the public health emergencies.At present,most of the scholars in China study risk communication from the perspective of media and psychology,and few from the perspective of public management.Therefore,the author studies the risk communication mechanism of public health emergencies from the perspective of public management and the experience of risk communication research in psychology,media science and other disciplines.COVID-19 is an unprecedented public health emergency hitherto unknown since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.The author chooses the new crown epidemic as a typical case.By using literature research method and case study method,drawing on risk communication theory and crisis management theory,taking the new crown epidemic situation as an example,we deeply analyze the mechanism of risk communication in emergency management of public health emergencies,and proceed from the four dimensions of risk communication main body,audience,risk information and risk information communication platform.To find out the relevant problems in the risk communication of public health emergency management,and then put forward the relevant countermeasures to optimize the risk communication mechanism of public health emergency in China,in order to provide reference for the risk communication of public health emergency in the future.
