Objective: By reporting a case of drug induced autoimmune hepatitis(DIAIH),combining its clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, pathological examinations and clinical diagnosis and treatment process,we summarize the clinical diagnosis and treatment ideas of DIAIH by distinguishing the features of drug-induced liver injury(DILI)and autoimmune hepatitis(AIH),so as to improve the clinicians’ understanding and diagnosis level of this special type of liver disease. This article will focus on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, serological features and pathological manifestations of DIAIH.Methods: The clinical data of a case with DIAIH in the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University were selected, and the differences between DILI and AIH were summarized,so as to illustrate the progress of the diagnosis and treatment of DIAIH by combining in combination with domestic and foreign literatures. Results: The patient in this case had yellow eyes and urine as the first clinical manifestation, and repeatedly developed abnormal liver function. After treatment with glucocorticoids, liver protection and enzyme reduction, the patient’s liver function gradually returned to normal. Conclusions: With the increasing incidence of DIAIH year by year, its clinical manifestations, biochemical indices, and autoantibodies are extremely similar to those of DILI and AIH,making differential diagnosis very difficult. Therefore, performing liver aspiration biopsy is still an important means to clarify the etiology, and pathological diagnosis is not only an important basis for differential diagnosis, but also an important indicator to assess liver inflammation and fibrosis. So that early identification, early diagnosis, and standardized treatment are required can reduce the financial burden of patients and slow down the progression of liver fibrosis.
