Clinical Study Of Platelet-rich Plasma In The Treatment Of Chronic Sinus Tract

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of Platelet-Rich Plasma in the treatment of various chronic sinus tract.Methods:1.Sixty patients with chronic sinus tract who were treated in the Burn Department of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University fr om October 2018 to December 2020 were taken as the research objects and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30cases in each group.After completing the relevant examination The pati ents in treatment group were given PRP treatment on the basis of routi ne debridement and dressing change while the patients in control group were treated with silver ion dressing drainage after debridement and dre ssing change in the same way.2.The time of chronic sinus healing,the number of dressing chang es,Pain scores,chronic sinus recurrence rate and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:1.The count of platelet in PRP(17.87×10~5/μL)is 6.36 tim es than that of whole blood(2.81×10~5/μL).2.The healing time of chroni c sinus in the treatment group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(t=11.405,P<0.05).3.the number of dressing changes in the treatment group was less than that in the control group(t=16.868,P<0.05).4.There was no statistically significant difference in the pain sco res of patients before treatment(t=0.903,P=0.370).After PRP treatment,the pain scores of the treatment group was lower than that of the cont rol group(t=8.060,P<0.05).5.There was no significant difference in sin us chronic recurrence rate and adverse reactions between the two groups(P﹥0.05).Conclusions:Compared with simple debridement and dressing change,PRP can promote the healing of the chronic sinus tract and reduce the pain of the patient.it is worthy of wide application.
