| Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum mir-33 and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2MD),nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and T2DM with NAFLD.Methods:A total of 75 patients in The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from July 2019 to January 2020 were selected and divided into three groups:25 patients with NAFLD were selected according to the diagnostic criteria of"Chinese guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(2010 Revised)",25 patients with NAFLD were selected according to the 1999 World Health Organization(who)According to the diagnostic criteria of type 2 diabetes proposed by who,25 patients with T2MD and 25 patients with NAFLD were selected.In addition,25 healthy controls were selected.The basic demographic information was collected and the mir-33 level in serum of each group and biochemical indexes such as blood glucose and blood lipid were detected.The differences among the anal-ysis groups were tested by variance analysis,nonparametric test orX~~2.The correlation between mir-33 level and biochemical indexes was analyzed by Spearman correlation.The relationship between mir-33 and NAFLD in T2DM patients was studied by mul-tivariate logistic regression analysis.Results:1.The serum levels of mir-33 in NAFLD group,T2DM group and T2DM with NAFLD group were higher than those in healthy people,and the serum level of mir-33 in patients with NAFLD was the highest(P<0.05).2.There were significant differences in systolic blood pressure,TC,FPG,Hb A1c,TG,HDL,UA,SCR,GGT,ALT and AST among the four groups(P<0.05).3.The level of mir33 was positively correlated with systolic blood pressure,FPG,Hb A1c,TG,UA and GGT(P<0.05).HDL and miR-33 were negatively correlated.4.With the increase of mir33 level,the risk of T2DM with NAFLD was increased(OR=8.999,95 CI%:2.296-35.274).Elevated systolic blood pressure and FPG also increased the risk of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in T2DM patients.Conclusions:1.With the increase of mir-33 level,the risk of T2DM and NAFLD may increase.2.miR-33 is correlated with blood pressure,blood sugar,blood lipids and other bio-chemical indicators.3.As a risk factor for T2DM and NAFLD,Serum mir-33 may be involved in the reg-ulation of glucose and lipid metabolism and affect the occurrence and development of metabolic diseases. |
