| Objectives To provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of obese polycystic ovary syndrome,the clinical efficacy of Modified Erchen Decoction and Gegen Decoction combined with Daying-35 in the treatment of obese polycystic ovary syndrome is analyzed.Methods All 86 patients with obesity polycystic ovary syndrome from the gynecological clinic and ward of Shijiazhuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital during the date from December 2019 to November 2020 were selected.And then,all the patients were divided into two groups with random number table,namely the treatment group and the control group.Each of the group is consisted of 43 cases.The cases in control group were taken Daying-35 orally,and the cases in treatment group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine(ie Modified Erchen Decoction and Gegen Decoction)on the basis of the control group.During the treatment,a balanced diet and strengthened physical exercise were adopted by the both groups appropriately.One month was set as a course of treatment,and the treatment lasted for 3 courses.After 3 months,the two groups of patients were evaluated generally before and after treatment in TCM syndrome scores,hirsutism and acne scores,body weight,body mass index(BMI),waist-to-hip ratio(WHR),sex hormone levels,glucose and lipid metabolism levels,etc.After that,the safety of the treatment methods above were evaluated,and the collected data results were processed and analyzed with the statistical software of SPSS25.0.Results Among all the 86 patients,6 patients were shed,the remaining 80 patients finished the treatment plan,including 40 patients in treatment group and 40 in the control group.1 Body weight,BMI,WHR: comparing with the patients before the treatment,there is significant improvement of the body weight,BMI,WHR of the patients after the treatment is with statistical significance(P < 0.05);For Inter-group comparison,the treatment effect of the treatment group is better than the effect of the control group(P <0.05).2 Sex hormone levels: Comparing with the both groups before the treatment,the difference between LH,LH/FSH,T of the both groups are with statistical significance(P< 0.05),the difference between FSH of the both groups are with no statistical significance(P > 0.05).For Inter-group comparison after the treatment,the improvement of LH,LH/FSH,T for the treatment group is more significant than the control group.The difference between FSH of the both groups is with no statistical significance(P > 0.05).3Glucolipid metabolism: The TC,TG,LDL-C,HOMA-IR of the both groups decrease on different level after the treatment,and the difference between HDL-C of the both groups increase after the treatment with statistical significance(P < 0.05);For Inter-group comparison after the treatment,the medical effect of the treatment group is better than the control group with statistical significance(P < 0.05).4 Hirsutism and acne scores:Comparing with the both groups before the treatment,the difference between acne scores of the both groups is with statistical significance(P < 0.05),the difference between hirsutism score of the both groups is with no statistical significance(P > 0.05);For Intergroup comparison after the treatment,the improvement of the acne scores for the treatment group is better than the control group with statistical significance(P < 0.05),the improvement of the hirsutism scores for the both groups is with no statistical significance(P > 0.05).5 TCM syndrome efficacy scores: Comparing with the both groups before the treatment,the difference between TCM syndrome scores of the both groups are with statistical significance(P < 0.05);For Inter-group comparison after the treatment,the improvement of the TCM syndrome scores for the treatment group is better than the control group with statistical significance(P < 0.05).6 TCM syndrome scores:The effective ratio is 92.5% for the treatment group,the effective ratio is 77.5% for the control group.For Inter-group comparison after the treatment,the improvement of the TCM syndrome scores for the treatment group is better than the control group with statistical significance(P < 0.01).7 Liver and kidney function were examined and no serious adverse reactions were found.Conclusions Modified Erchen Decoction and Gegen Decoction combined with Daying-35 has significant efficacy in improving body weight,BMI,WHR,hormone level,HOMA-IR,blood lipid,ance score and TCM syndrome total score in the treatment of obesity PCOS,which is significantly superior to the treatment effect of western medicine Daying-35 alone(P < 0.05),providing clinical reference for the treatment method.Figure 0;Table 11;Reference 111... |
