"Medical Social Worker+X" Service Project Evaluation Research

With the advancement of medical technology and social development,people pay more and more attention to humanistic care in the process of medical treatment,and many hospitals have put the goal of "improving patient medical experience" in the first place in the construction of humanistic medical care in hospitals.Since Shanghai Dongfang Hospital established the first social work department in mainland medical institutions in 2000,the practice of medical social work has been gradually promoted in mainland my country.The State Council and the Ministry of Health have repeatedly stated in government documents that attention should be paid to the establishment of the hospital’s social work department.This creates a good environment for the practice of medical social work in my country,and also reflects the necessity and urgency of improving the professionalism of medical social work.This article adopts qualitative research methods and procedural logic models to analyze the "Medical Social Worker + X" service project of J C Hospital from the aspects of needs assessment,project objective assessment,resource input,project implementation content,project results,and analysis of influencing factors.Conducted an evaluation,deeply analyzed the relevant internal and external influencing factors,and explored the impact of personnel input,site settings,service planning,professional requirements and other aspects on the service project.In the process of social service evaluation,taking into account the diversity of service providers and service targets,the author included seven choices from hospital leaders,medical social workers,department medical staff,professional interns,volunteers,heads of public welfare organizations,children and their families.The group selected 21 interviewees,designed targeted interview outlines based on their different identity characteristics,conducted semi-structured interviews on them,and combined the interview data with the available text materials to summarize and refine them.As far as possible,make a professional and comprehensive assessment of the "Medical Social Worker+ X" service items.In addition,based on the first-hand materials collected during the research process and my own observation experience,the author summarized the service structure diagram of the "Medical Social Worker + X" service project,which can clearly see that the medical social workers and other multi-party forces are in the hospital.And the position in the society,the different interactions between each other,and show the core role played by medical social workers in this service project.Finally,based on the evaluation of each link,feasibility suggestions for the service project are made: First,give play to the leading role of the government,improve the construction of the social work system,quantify relevant indicators,and make the social work development system more scientific,and in the service development process It is necessary to make full use of all resources to build a medical social work support network;secondly,to enhance the professional capabilities of medical social workers,expand the team of medical social workers,and at the same time strengthen the training and management of service-related personnel such as volunteers,so as to improve the professional level of services;Third,hospitals also need to appropriately increase their investment in medical social work services to provide complete objective conditions for professional services;finally,medical social workers must reasonably arrange various service hours and combine local characteristics to create medical social work service highlights to form a unique Professional service model and service brand.The author hopes that through summarizing and reflecting on this service project,the theory of medical social work can be better integrated into practice,and to promote the pioneering and innovation of professional theory in practice,continuously improve the professional level of medical social work services,and improve medical social work The popularity of services has promoted the localization of medical social workers.
