Objective: This study retrospectively analyzed the data of 92 cases of iron deficiency anemia patients in our hospital, summarized the clinical manifestations, etiology and laboratory examination of this group of patients with iron deficiency anemia, and provided reference for the clinical diagnosis and prevention of iron deficiency anemia.Methods:92 cases of iron deficiency anemia patients hospitalized in our hospital from January 2016 to January 2018 were selected.General, clinical and laboratory data of patients were collected for retrospective analysis.Results:1.General information: 38 males(41.30%)and 54 females(58.70%);There were 24(26.09%)patients aged 17-44,30(32.61%)patients aged 45-60,and 38(41.30%)patients aged 60-plus.One patient(1.09%)drank strong tea,11(11.96%)smoked,and 7(7.61%)drank alcohol.2.Clinical manifestations: 83 cases of dizziness and fatigue(90.22%);A total of 77 cases(83.70%)had pale skin and mucous membrane.Palpitation shortness of breath in 33 cases(35.87%),flat nail nail light in 19 cases(20.65%).There were 13 cases of tongue nipple atrophy(14.13%).2 cases(2.17%)had dry skin. There were 19 cases of menorrhagia(20.65%).There were 14 cases(15.22%)with black and bloody stools.Abdominal discomfort in 5 patients(5.43%);There were 8 cases of emaciation(8.70%).Skin hemorrhage in 1 case(1.09%).3.Anemia degree:24 patients with mild anemia(26.09%);50 patients with moderate anemia(54.35%);18 patients with severe or above anemia(19.56%).4.Etiological distribution: There were 24 cases of gastritis(26.09%).Menorrhagia in19 cases(20.65%);A total of 10 patients(10.87%)underwent major gastrectomy. There were9 cases of gastrointestinal tumor(9.78%).Gastric ulcer in 8 cases(8.70%).Hemorrhoid bleeding in 5 cases(5.43%);A total of 4 patients(4.35%)had insufficient diet. There were 2cases of chronic enteritis, rheumatic immune diseases, digestive tract polyps and unknown causes(2.17%).Portal hypertensive gastropathy, esophageal ulcer, chronic kidney disease, lung cancer after total colectomy,1 case each(1.09%).5.Laboratory indicators: Hemoglobin, erythrocytes,MCV,MCH,serum iron, and ferritin(single test)were all reduced. The more severe the anemia was,the more significant the reduction was. Both ferritin(anemia 4)and transferrin saturation decreased. With the increase of anemia, the most significant decrease was in the severe anemia group and above, followed by the mild anemia group, and finally the moderate anemia group.Bone marrow can be stained with iron.Conclusion:1.Incidence of major disease because of gastritis, followed by menorrhagia, then followed by most of the cutting operation, gastrointestinal tumor, stomach women mainly menorrhagia(mainly for uterine fibroids),for women menorrhagia, comprehensive and carefully asked the history, pursuit of the cause, and the relevant check is very necessary,is helpful to early diagnosis and treatment of anemia.Gastritis is the main cause of disease in male and non-menorrhagia female patients,so the necessity of routine examination of gastrointestinal tract is extremely important for the diagnosis of the disease.2.Blood routine, iron metabolism index and bone marrow image all had corresponding changes when IDA was used,so routine hematologic and bone marrow tests were essential for anemia.3.In addition to iron supplement, the primary disease should be treated actively to avoid repeated attacks.
