Significance Of The Expression Of IL-17A,IL-17C And Their Receptors In Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Objective To investigate the mechanism of Interleukin-17A(IL-17A),Interleukin-17C(IL-17C),Interleukin-17 Receptor A(IL-17RA)and Interleukin-17 Receptor C(IL-17RC)in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps(CRSwNPs)diseases.Methods Twenty-four NP patients who underwent nasal endoscopic sinus surgery from June 2016 to June 2017 in our department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery(nasal polyps group)and 12 patients with nasal septal surgery under nasal endoscope(control group).Hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to detect NP components of eosCRSwNP(eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps)and non-eosCRSwNP(non-eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps).Western blotting was used to detect the expression of IL-17A,IL-17C,IL-17RA and IL-17RC in the nasal polyps group(divided into eosCRSwNP group and non-eosCRSwNP group)and in the control group.Results1.HE staining:Of the 24 NPs,46%(11)were eosCRSwNP and 54%(13)were non-eosCRSwNP2.Western Blot results:in the control group The average gray value of IL-17A was 0.705±0.22,the average gray value of IL-17C was 0.048±0.01,and the average gray value of IL-17RA was 0.051±0.01.in the nasal polyp group The average gray value of IL-17A was 3.524±0.77.the average gray value of IL-17C was 0.293±0.06,and the average gray value of IL-17RA was 0.527±0.13,IL-17RC The average gray value was 0.784±0.14.This shows that compared with the control group,the expression of IL-17A,IL-17C,IL-17RA,and IL-17RC in NP tissues was significantly increased,and there was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).In the non-eosCRSwNP group,the average gray value of IL-17A was 2.020±0.45,the average gray value of IL-17C was 0.235±0.06,and the average gray value of IL-17RA was 0.114 ±0.02,the average gray value of IL-17RC was 0.437 ±0.09.In the eosCRSwNP group,the average gray value of IL-17A was 5.528 ±1.54,the average gray value of IL-17C was 0.540±0.14,and the average gray value of IL-17RA was 1.020±0.19.The average gray value of IL-17RC was 1.277±0.28.This shows that the expression of IL-17A,IL-17C,IL-17RA and IL-17RC in group eosCRSwNP was significantly higher than that of the non-eosCRSwNP group,and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the expression of IL-17A,IL-17C,IL-17RA,IL-17RC in the eosCRSwNP group was significantly increased,and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions1.IL-17A,IL-17C,IL-17RA,IL-17RC and other cytokines play an important role in the formation of CRSwNPs.2.EOS plays a promoting role in the formation of cytokines such as IL-17A,IL-17C,IL-17RA,and IL-17RC.It is expected to provide experimental basis for the clinical treatment of CRSwNPs.
