Objective:To investigate the effect of radiofrequency ablation(RFA)on the treatment of benign thyroid nodules, and to cooperate with professor Song aili’s postoperative detumescence formula to prevent or treat the patients’ self-induced symptoms, such as pain, swelling and cough,so as to promote the recovery of inflammatory reaction in the surgical area.To observe the clinical effect of RFA on benign thyroid nodules. Methods:Finishing in October 2016-02,2018 mammary gland thyroid surgery in affiliated hospital of shandong university of TCM clinic specific diagnosis of thyroid benign nodules and radiofrequency ablation treatment of 72 cases, records of the patient’s basic clinical data and through its lump size randomly assigned into two groups(control group and treatment group),RFA therapy, first,in combination with a week postoperatively in patients with neck pain,swelling,self-conscious symptoms such as cough, degree and the duration of study professor aree song postoperative swelling party for its curative effect;Secondly, the volume reduction ratio(VRR)was calculated according to the size of the nodules monitored by color doppler ultrasound after the patients’ reexamination, and the clinical efficacy was observed. Each patient was followed up for more than 1 year.Results:(1)According to the re-examination of one week after operation, the presence, duration and extent of pain, swelling, fever, cough, nausea and vomiting in the treatment group and the control group were observed. It is obvious that postoperative swelling can effectively prevent and reduce theoccurrence of postoperative patients.Discomfort symptoms.(2)The maximum diameter and volume of the nodules after RFA improved significantly. At the 1st,3rd,6th,9th,and 12 th month after RFA follow-up,the VRR obtained by follow-up were: 42.05±15.43%,64.73±13.01%,77.45±10.06%,84.49±8.19%,and 89.77±6.44%,respectively.(3)Regardless of whether the thyroid nodule was solid or cystic before surgery, the nodule volume was significantly reduced, but compared with the VRR at each follow-up period, the VRR of the solid nodules was lower than the VRR of the solid nodules.(4)Through linear regression analysis,we found that the initial volume of the thyroid nodules is related to the initial maximum diameter and the final VRR,which is the cause of the radiofrequency effect, and the age, gender, initial blood flow, initial cystic solidity and radiofrequency response Not statistically significant.(5)In this study,72 patients had no serious complications such as recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy, nodular rupture, brachial plexus injury,Horner syndrome, transient thyrotoxicosis, etc.in only one patient.Deaf-mute,laryngoscopy confirmed the recurrent laryngeal nerve injury, but the sound returned to normal within 3 months of follow-up observation. Two patients developed hemorrhage or hematoma formation at or after treatment and disappeared within 1 month of follow-up.There were no cases of postoperative dysphonia, hoarseness, drinking water, cough, radiation pain and other long-term complications and sequelae. Conclusions:Professor song aili’s postoperative detumescence can significantly improve the local conscious symptoms of patients after radiofrequency ablation of thyroid gland, and through long-term postoperative observation, radiofrequency ablation of benign thyroid nodules under the guidance of color doppler ultrasound has the advantages of safety, effectiveness, minimally invasive and aesthetic appearance.
