Clinical Observation On The Prevention And Treatment Of Peripheral Neurotoxicity Caused By Oxaliplatin

Objective To study the prevention and treatment effect of No.1 fuming and washing prescription on oxaliplatin induced peripheral neurotoxicity and analyze its safety,explore its clinical application value,and provide a new treatment method for oxaliplatin induced peripheral neurotoxicity.MethodsFrom January 2018 to may 2019,60 patients with gastric and colorectal cancer who received oxaliplatin chemotherapy in our hospital were selected and divided into control group and treatment group with random number table method,30 cases in each group.The control group began to take Mecobalamin tablets three days before chemotherapy,0.5mg three times a day,10 days as a course of treatment.The patients in the treatment group were given fumigation and washing of their hands and feet for10 days before chemotherapy.All patients were given three courses of treatment.Levi grading evaluation and Karnofsky functional state score were carried out for each course of treatment in the two groups,and the incidence of peripheral neuritis was counted after treatment in the two groups.ResultsAccording to Levi’s special sensory neurotoxicity classification analysis after the treatment of the two groups,6,10,9 and 5 patients in the control group had grade 0,grade Ⅰ,grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ neurotoxicity respectively,while 6,10,8 and 6 patients in the treatment group had grade 0,grade Ⅰ,grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ neurotoxicity respectively.Compared with the control group,the pvalue of the treatment group was better,the difference was more statistically significant,and the efficacy was better Outstanding.The score of functional state of human body began with the process of chemotherapy,P value decreased gradually,until the third month compared with the first month,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).And from the third month to the end,KPS scores between the two groups were significantly different(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the occurrence of other side effects and the change of tumor markers between the two groups.In the control group,6 cases were effective,13 cases were effective,11 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 63.3%;in the treatment group,12 cases were effective,14 cases were effective,4cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 86.7%.ConclusionsFor the peripheral neurotoxicity caused by oxaliplatin,our No.1 prescription of fumigation and washing has a prominent prevention and treatment effect.Ⅰt can give full play to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in improving the quality of life of cancer patients after chemotherapy.During the clinical trial,there is no obvious adverse reaction,and the safety is good.Ⅰt is worth popularizing.
