Objective:To evaluate the correlation and significance between the Ki-67 labeling index and the clinicopathologic features of gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST)patients and risk classification of gastrointestinal stromal tumors.Method:GIST patients who were admitted to Yanbian University Affiliated Hospital from January 2010 to October 2019 and were diagnosed as gastrointestinal stromal Tumors(GIST)by surgical resection were collected, the asic information(age, sex, nationality),initial symptoms, intraoperative findings, pathological findings, postoperative pathological results(tumor size, number of mitotic figures, etc.)of 107 patients with GIST were analyzed.According to the 2008 NIH GIST risk grading standard and the Chinese consensus of experts on diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumors(2017 edition),all GIST patients were divided into 9 cases of extremely low risk group and 26 cases of low risk group, middle Risk Group(20 cases)and high risk group(52 cases). To compare the difference between Ki-67 and different risk grades of GIST,to study the correlation between Ki-67 and clinicopathologic features and risk invasiveness, and to evaluate the feasibility of judging the risk grade of GIST according to Ki-67 grouping. Results:The correlation between Ki-67 value and risk degree, tumor diameter, mitotic figure, tumor site and necrosis was statistically significant, and the correlation direction was positive, the correlation coefficients were 0.705,0.535,0.675,0.253 and 0.203,respectively The correlation between Ki-67 and age was statistically significant, the correlation direction was negative, and the Correlation Coefficient was 0.243.The correlation between Ki-67 and other variables was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The Ki-67 grouping was consistent with the National Institutes of Health(NIH)and National Institutes of Health(NIH)risk grading standards of GIST(P<0.05).Ki-67 is not useful for mid-term risk assessment, but it is useful for very low risk, low risk and high risk assessment.Conclusion:Ki-67 is significantly correlated with the progression and invasive tumor biological behavior of GIST.It can be used as a complement to the criteria of NIH risk grading and as an important prognostic indicator for GIST patients.
