Objective: To analyze the incidence and clinicopathological features of gastrointestinal stromal tumors from January 2010 to December 2016 in Yunnan Tumor Hospital, so as to understand the incidence of GISTs in the region and provide a certain order for the epidemiology of gastrointestinal stromal tumors Basis, and help to strengthen the understanding of gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and improve the level of diagnosis and treatment. Methods: The clinical and pathological characteristics of 250 cases of GISTs were analyzed retrospectively from January 2010 to December 2016. The clinicopathological features of GISTs were analyzed in different age groups, different sex groups, different ethnic groups, different parts Histological type group and so on. The incidence and clinical pathological features of gastrointestinal stromal tumors in Yunnan Tumor Hospital were obtained. Results:250 cases were pathological diagnosed gastrointestinal stromal tumors for the first time in Yunnan Tumor Hospital during January 2010 to December 2016. The overall number of patients was increasing. Age range of 26-84 years old, the average age of 55.52 years old, the median age of 55 years, the highest proportion of the incidence is 50-60 years old, the prevalence of men and women slightly different, male to female ratio of about 1.33: 1, the incidence of ethnic to Han nationality, the number of ethnic minorities in 29 cases, of which the largest number of Yi and Bai patients. Age range of 26-84 years old, the average age of 55.52 years old, the median age of 55 years, the highest incidence of the age is 50-60 years old, slightly different incidence of men and women, male to female ratio of about 1.33: 1. The incidence of ethnic Han to the main, the number of ethnic minorities in 29 cases, among them, the number of Yi and Bai was the highest. Kunming, Qujing City was the main incidence area. The main parts of the disease was the stomach and small intestine. The main clinical symptoms are touch the mass, abdominal pain, bloating, vomiting, gastrointestinal bleeding.defecation difficulties, some asymptomatic are usually found in other surgery or physical examination.Statistics show that: age in the diseased parts of the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Ethnic differences in the presence or absence of necrosis was statistically significant(P <0.05).Other differences were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Conclusion: GISTs are a distributed and rare tumor, and GISTs in Yunnan have no tendency to focus on the prevalence and distribution. The main site of the disease is stomach and small intestine, predilection age is 50-60 years old.The diseased site is age-related.The older the better occurs in the stomach, the younger the better occurs in the small intestine. Objective:To investigate the expression of Ki-67 in gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs) and its correlation with clinicopathological factors and risk stratification. Methods:The clinicopathological data of 77 patients with primary GISTs were analyzed. The expression of Ki-67 was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. The correlation between the expression of Ki-67 and the clinicopathological factors and risk stratification of GISTs was analyzed. Results:The proliferation index of Ki-67 was significantly different between the tumor site, the degree of mitosis and risk stratification (P <0.05), but there was no statistically significant difference in age, sex, tumor size, tumor histological type, tumor cystic degeneration, single or multiple, with or without bleeding, necrosis and whether other tumors(P> 0.05). At the same time, the proliferation index of Ki-67 was correlated with tumor site, mitosis, single or multiple and risk stratification (P <0.05). There was a positive correlation between Ki-67 proliferation index and nuclear division and risk stratification. Conclusion:Ki-67 proliferation index can be used as an important index to judge the risk stratification and prognosis of GISTs.
