Objective:To study the current situation of the first-term women’s birth fears, inner strength and the first-term women’s willingness to give birth;to clarify the relationship between the first-born women’s birth fears, inner strength and the willingness to deliver; It also provides a basis for further relevant research.Methods:(1)This study used the socio-demographic questionnaire for primiparas, the delivery attitude questionnaire(CAQ),and the intrinsic strength scale(ISS)to select the primiparas who were undergoing obstetric examinations in two third-tier A-level hospitals in Weihai as the survey object through the convenience sampling method. To conduct a questionnaire survey,a total of 230 questionnaires were distributed and 208 questionnaires were recovered.Among them,201 were valid questionnaires, and the effective questionnaire rate was 87.4%.(2)The collected survey data was coded and entered into the SPSS17.0 Chinese version statistical software, and the data was statistically analyzed. The general demographic characteristics of the primiparas were described by descriptive statistics. The birth fear and internal strength of the primiparas were averaged and standard deviation. And other descriptive statistical methods, single factor analysis using t test or analysis of variance to study variables. The impact of labor fear and internal strength on labor will be analyzed.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of labor desire.Results:(1)The birth fear score of the primipara was(2.62±0.58)points.In this study, the birth fear of the primipara was at a medium level. The factors are related, and the impact of each influencing factor on the fear of childbirth is statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The score of the intrinsic strength of the primipara is(5.00±0.56)points.Among the influencing factors, age, education level, occupation, monthly family income, relatives and friends’ willingness to give birth and attitude of spouses to give birth are equal to the inner strength(P<0.05).(3)The cesarean section group’s childbirth score and the average score of each latitude were significantly higher than those of the natural delivery group, and the internal force score and the average score of each latitude of the natural delivery group were significantly higher than the cesarean section group.Regression analysis of the relationship between childbirth fear, inner strength and childbirth willingness, the difference between the groups was significant(P<0.05).(4)Logistic regression analysis was carried out with fear of birth and internal strength as independent variables, and willingness to deliver as dependent variable. The fear of birth and internal strength will have different effects on the desire to deliver, and the difference is significant. Conclusions:Fear of childbirth and inner strength are important influencing factors of primipara’s willingness to give birth. The higher the fear of childbirth, the higher the willingness of primipara to give birth to cesarean section;the stronger the inner strength, the lower the willingness of primipara to give birth to cesarean section.Strengthening the inner strength level of the primipara and reducing the level of childbirth fear of the primipara has an important impact on further reducing the willingness of the primipara to have a cesarean section.Medical staff should actively pay attention to and evaluate the primipara’s fear of childbirth and the level of inner strength.Through effective prenatal consultation and education, guide the primipara to learn correct childbirth-related knowledge before childbirth, and actively cooperate with medical staff to correctly deal with the various aspects of childbirth.Psychological factors, actively seek help, improve the social support system of primiparas, and achieve the purpose of promoting the health of mothers and babies.
