| Objective: To investigate the morphological change of rectus abdominis in women after natural delivery and to observe the changes before and after clinical diagnosis of diastasis recti abdominis(DRA)with neuromuscular electrical stimulation(NMES)by high-frequency ultrasonic(HFU).Methods: 35 cases of puerpera at 3 days after natural delivery(group A)and 35 cases of puerpera at 8 weeks after natural delivery(group B)were selected as the research objects and 35 cases of non-pregnant women(group C)were selected as the control group.HFU was used to measure the inter-rectus distance(IRD),the thickness of the rectus muscle of the right superior umbilicus and inferior umbilicus, and the differences among the three groups were compared.20 postpartum DRA women were selected as another study subject, and the thickness of IRD,right superior umbilical and inferior umbilical rectus abdominis were also measured by HFU to compare the differences before and after NMES combined treatment. Results: 1.There were statistically significant differences in the incidence of DRA among the three groups(P <0.05),with the incidence of DRA in group A being 97.1%,60.0% in group B and zero in group C.2.There were statistically significant differences in IRD among the three groups(P <0.05).Puerpera IRD were greater than that of non-pregnant women, and 3 days after delivery IRD were greater than 8 weeks after delivery. There were statistically significant differences in the thickness of the rectus abdominis superior and inferior umbilicus among the three groups(P <0.05).The thickness of the rectus abdominis in the puerpera women were less than that in the non-pregnant women, and the thickness of the rectus abdominis in the 3 days after delivery were less than 8 weeks after delivery.3.There was a negative correlation between inferior umbilical IRD and rectus abdominis thickness in group B(r=-0.456,P =0.006),while there were no significant correlation between superior and inferior umbilical IRD and rectus abdominis thickness in group A and group C(P > 0.05).In group B,there were no significant correlation between IRD and the thickness of the rectus abdominis superior umbilicus(P > 0.05).4.Before and after NMES treatment, there were statistically significant differences in the IRD and the thickness of rectus abdominis superior and inferior the umbilicus(P<0.05).After treatment, the IRD were less than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the thickness of rectus muscles were thicker than that before treatment(P<0.05).5.There was no statistically significant difference in age among three groups(P>0.05).Body mass index(BMI)of group C were less than that of group A and B,and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05),while that of group A and B was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: HFU measurement of postpartum IRD and rectus abdominis thickness can provide a basis for the clinical evaluation of postpartum female rectus abdominis morphological change and the evaluation of postpartum DRA abdominal rehabilitation exercise and therapeutic effect. |
