| [Objective]To evaluate the effect of health education program based on health belief model on weight,health belief,self-efficacy and lifestyle of patients with overweight or obese polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility[Methods]This study is a kind of experimental study,and the sampling method is convenient sampling method.Sixty patients with overweight or obese Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)complicated with infertility were selected from the outpatient department of reproductive medicine of the first affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College and the second affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College,and then divided into control group and experimental group according to the order of treatment.The control group adopted the routine health education program of the department,and the experimental group implemented the intervention based on the health belief model on the basis of the routine health education program of the department.The intervention forms included outpatient one-to-one health education,the formulation and implementation of personal lifestyle plans,the establishment of WeChat group and the regular follow-up of WeChat.Patients’ weight,body mass index,waist circumference,hip circumference,waist-to-hip ratio,health belief,self-efficacy and lifestyle were evaluated before and 12 weeks after intervention,and the effects of different health education methods were compared[Results]1.After intervention,the weight,BMI,waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio of the experimental group decreased,showing statistical difference compared with the control group(P<0.05),while the hip circumference showed no statistical difference compared with the control group(P>0.05).2.The experimental group after intervention of health belief,compared with the control group was statistically difference(P<0.05),the five dimensions of health beliefs have a feeling of resource utilization,personal health belief,has the ability to implement,feel the threat score and the control group was statistically difference(P<0.05),and feel in control score compared with the control group no statistical difference(P>0.05).3.After intervention,there was no significant difference in the scores of general self-efficacy between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).4.After intervention,the lifestyle of the experimental group was improved,among which,dietary rhythm,dietary content and exercise awareness showed statistical differences compared with the control group(P<0.05),while there were no statistical differences in physique awareness and life rhythm compared with the control group(P>0.05).[Conclusions]1.The health belief model can reduce the body weight,body mass index,waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio of overweight or obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility.2.The health belief model can improve the health belief of overweight or obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility.3.The health belief model can improve the lifestyle of overweight or obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility. |
