Objective:The study analyzes the risk factors and the distribution characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution types in patients wi th both acute cerebral infarction and hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy),and explores the correlation between risk factors and common TCM constitution types,so as to effectively identify risk factors by distinguishing TCM constitution types, and provide references for taking targeted intervention measures to prevent and cure this disease. Methods:The study included 524 inpatients diagnosed with acute cerebral infarction in Jinan Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Shandong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Chinese Medicine from January to December 2019.According to the levels of plasma homocysteine(Hcy),they were divided into Hcy increased group and Hcy normal group. The clinical data of the two groups were collected by questionnaire, including gender, age, height, weight,BMI,smoking, drinking, exercise, eating habits and hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and so on.Using the "Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification and Judgment Form(ZYYXH/T157-2009)" to judge the TCM constitution type of patients with both acute cerebral infarction and HHcy.Enter the collated data into Excel and analyze it with SPSS25.0.Results:1.Chi-square test showed that there were statistical differences in gender, age, overweight or obesity, hypertension, and diabetes between Hcy increased group and Hcy normal group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).In binary Logistic regression analysis,male(OR=2.420,95%CI:1.548~3.784,P=0.000),hyperten-sion(OR=1.923,95%CI:1.266~2.922,P=0.002),overweight or obesity(OR=1.776,95%CI:1.211~2.605,P=0.003),old age(60 to 90 years old)(OR=1.619,95%CI:1.021~2.566,P=0.040),diabetes(OR=0.548,95%CI:0.359~0.837,P=0.005)were determinants of acute cerebral infarction with HHcy.Among them, the partial regression coefficients of the former four determinants were all positive, and the last one was negative.2.The distribution of TCM constitution types in patients with both acute cerebral infarction and HHcy was:phlegm-dampness constitution 23.8%>qi-deficiency constitution 20.8%>yin-deficiency constitution18.8%>blood stasis constitution 13.4%>Balanced Constitution9.9%>Yang-deficiency constitution 6.9%>qi-stagnation constitution 3.5%>damp-heat constitution 2.5%>inherited special constitution 0.5%.3.In binary Logistic regression analysis, overweight or obesity(OR=2.358,95%CI:1.165~4.774,P=0.017)were selected as risk factors of phlegm dampness in patients with both acute cerebral infarction and HHcy;old age(60 to 90 years old)(OR=3.987,95%CI:1.154~13.782,P=0.029)was selected as a risk factor of qi deficiency in patients with both acute cerebral infarction and HHcy.Conclusion:1.The risk factors for acute cerebral infarction with HHcy were male, hypertension, overweight or obesity, and old age(60 to 90 years old).2.The common types of TCM constitution in patients with both acute cerebral infarction and HHcy were:phlegm-dampness constitution,qi-deficiency constitution and yin-deficiency constitution.3.The risk factors of phlegm dampness in patients with both acute cerebral infarction and HHcy were overweight or obesity, the risk factor of qi deficiency in patients with both acute cerebral infarction and HHcy was old age(60 to 90 years old).
