Study Of TCM Constituional Characteristics And Related Factors In Patients With Hypertension And Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Objective:To study the characteristics of TCM constitutions in patients with hypertension and obstructive sleep apnea(OSA),discusses the characteristics of main constitution types,and analyzes related factors,so as to provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of hypertension with OSA from the perspective of TCM constitution.Methods:The study collected clinical information of 258 patients,who were treated in the neurology department of Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.According to whether the patient has osa,it is divided into a group of 131 patients with hypertension and OSA,and 127 patients with hypertension without OSA.Improve the patient information collection form and Chinese medicine constitution classification and judgment form,investigate the patient’ s constitution distribution,and analyze related factors,to explore the risk factors of hypertension and OSA and the relationship between main physical types and related factorsResults1.The incidence of males in both groups is higher than that of females,and the majority of elderly patients.The average age range of OSA group is 58.23±11.40,and the average age range of non-OSA group is 57.83±11.84.Differences in body weight,BMI,neck circumference,smoking history,drinking history,cerebrovascular disease history,blood glucose abnormalities,and blood lipid abnormalities were statistically significant between the two groups.BMI and neck circumference are independent risk factors for hypertension combined with OSA.2.Among the 131 OSA patients,according to the degree of OSA,27 cases were mild(20.6%),38 were moderate(29.0%),and 66 were severe(50.4%);OSA and BMI of different degrees,There is a statistical difference between neck circumferences.The more severe the condition,the larger the BMI and neck circumference.The more severe the OSA condition,the higher the proportion of patients with tertiary hypertension.The proportion of tertiary hypertension in mild,moderate,and severe OSA is 51.9%,60.5%,and 77.3%.85.5%of patients have hypoxemia,the higher the OSA condition,the higher the proportion of severe hypoxemia.3.The biased constitution of hypertension and OSA group accounts for 96.18%,the main constitution types are phlegm and dampness(23.66%),blood stasis quality(20.61%),qi deficiency(14.5%);the hypertensive non-OSA group accounts for 92.91%,The main types of constitution are phlegm and dampness(19.69%),Yin deficiency(18.11%),Qi deficiency(14.96%).4.The main physical distribution of patients with hypertension and OSA is related to gender,age,obesity,and neck circumference.The main physical types of OSA patients with light,medium and heavy are phlegm and dampness and blood stasisConclusion:1.BMI and neck circumference are independent risk factors for hypertension and OSA.2.The distribution of the number of OSA patients is severe>moderate)mild;the differences in BMI and neck circumference of OSA patients with different degrees are statistically significant;the more severe the OSA disease,the higher the proportion of patients with tertiary hypertension.3.Phlegm and dampness,blood stasis and qi deficiency are the main types of constitution in OSA group.Phlegm and dampness,yin deficiency and qi deficiency are the main types of constitution in non-OSA group.4.The main physical distribution of patients with hypertension and OSA is related to gender,age,obesity,and neck circumference.
