Clinical Observation Of Yiguhuoxue Decoction In Treating Osteoporotic Proximal Humerus Fracture

Objective:The purpose of this study is to take advantage of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of osteoporotic proximal humeral fractures,observe the efficacy of self-made Yigu Huoxue decoction in treating patients with osteoporotic proximal humeral fractures,and provide reference for clinical work.Methods:Forty-eight patients with proximal humeral fractures and osteoporosis who were admitted to the hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2017 to September 2019 and were treated with PHILOS internal fixation were selected.The syndrome type of osteoporosis is liver and kidney yin deficiency type.The patients were randomly divided into 24 cases in the control group by digital random method and given conventional treatment;24 cases in the treatment group were added with traditional Chinese medicine Yigu Huoxue Tang on the basis of conventional treatment.To compare the differences of osteoporosis TCM symptom score,visual analogue score(VAS),shoulder joint function score,fracture healing time and other indicators of the two groups of patients,SPSS26.0 was used for data statistics,and the self-made Yigu Huoxue Decoction was used to treat Efficacy of patients with loose proximal humerus fractures.Results:After treatment,the treatment group had statistical significance in shoulder joint score,TCM symptom score,VAS pain score,and fracture healing time compared with the control group.The 12-week postoperative shoulder joint scores of the two groups were 87.25±7.69 points in the treatment group and 81.71±9.22 points in the control group.The difference in shoulder joint scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the curative effect of TCM symptoms in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Both groups of patients underwent a VAS pain scoring score on the 1st,3rd,7th,4th,8th,and 12th postoperative days.The results showed that there were significant differences on the 3rd,7th,and 12th postoperative days(P<0.05),no significant difference at 4 and 8 weeks after operation(P>0.05).Both groups of patients were followed up for 6 months.By the last follow-up,the patients achieved bone healing.The fracture healing time of the treatment group was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The application of Yigu Huoxue Decoction in the operation of proximal humeral fractures can promote the recovery of shoulder function of patients,relieve pain,relieve osteoporosis symptoms,and promote fracture healing.lt has certain clinical application value.
