| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of the self-designed Qianggu Huoxue Decoction after surgery for osteoporotic proximal humerus fractures through a randomized controlled method,with the aim to alleviating pain and providing early recovery for patients with osteoporotic proximal humerus fractures.MethodsThe case from this study came from December 2019 to December 2020 in the inpatient ward of the Department of Orthopedics,Sanming City Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine,Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A total of 60 patients with osteoporotic proximal humerus fractures who met the inclusion criteria were included,of which 30 cases in the control group were given routine treatment after surgery,and 30 cases in the observation group were given self-designed "Qianggu Huoxue Decoction" treatment for2 weeks.Observe the two groups of patients before and after the treatment of visual analogue scale(VAS),swelling measurement,and Calcium and phosphorus product values,statistical analysis of the data using SPSS20.0 software,set P<0.05 Statistically significant standards.Results1.A total of 60 patients were enrolled in the study,30 in the control group and 30 in the observation group,all of whom completed clinical observation.2.Baseline data(gender,age,injury side distribution,fracture typing),comparison of the circumferential diameter of the affected shoulder joint,VAS score and calcium-phosphorus product values on the first postoperative day between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.3.Comparison of the circumferential diameter of the affected shoulder joint between the two groups: there was a statistical difference in the circumferential diameter of the shoulder joint between the observation group and the control group on the 4th,7th and 14 th days after surgery(P<0.05).4.Comparison of the postoperative VAS scores between the two groups: there was a statistical difference between the VAS scores of the observation group on the 4th,7th and 14 th day postoperatively compared to the control group(p<0.05).5.Comparison of postoperative calcium and phosphorus product values between the two groups: there was a statistical difference between the calcium and phosphorus product values of the observation group on the 14 th day after surgery compared to the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionsThe recent use of the self-designed Qianggu Huoxue Decoction after osteoporotic proximal humerus fracture had positive therapeutic effects in reducing the degree of shoulder swelling,relieving pain and increasing the calcium-phosphorus product value,with no significant adverse effects. |
