Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Acupuncture Combined With Navel Therapy Of Treating Cold-dampness Type Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion

Objective:To observe and evaluate the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with navel therapy of treating cold-dampness type lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion(LIDP),and to provide a more optimized treatment plan for clinical and conservative treatment of cold-dampness type LIDP.Methods:60 cases of cold-dampness type LIDP were randomly divided into observation group(treated with acupuncture combined with navel therapy)and comparition group(treated with acupuncture).There were 30 cases in each group.The curative effect of the patients was observed after 2 treatment courses,and the visual analogue score(VAS score)of the patients before and after the treatment was recorded,the lower-waist pain score developed by the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA score)and the quantitative integration of the cold-dampness type syndrome of LIDP,and the pain of the two groups of patients,The improvement of the quality of life was observed.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3%,and the comparition group was 70.0%.The VAS score,the JO A score and the quantitative integration of the cold-dampness type syndrome in both groups were significantly improved(all P<0.01),and the observation group was ameliorated more significantly than those in the comparition group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with navel therapy can improve the clinical curative effect of cold-dampness type LIDP.
