| Objective:In order to observe the clinical efficacy of warm needle row acupuncture therapy combined with massage therapy in the treatment of the cold-dampness type of lumbar disc herniation. The efficacy was evaluated by ROM of the whole lumbar range of motion, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)Score and electromyography of the common peroneal nerve and the tibial nerve before and after treatment to explore the therapeutic effect of warm needle row acupuncture therapy. The above numerical differences were used to compare the therapeutic effects of warm needle row acupuncture therapy combined with massage therapy and massage therapy by itself. The purpose of this research is to provide a new treatment idea for the treatment of patients with clinical lumbar disc herniation and to provide new treatment ideas. Methods:The 70 cases of patients diagnosed with the cold-dampness type of lumbar disc herniation in the outpatient department and inpatient department of rehabilitation department of Nanping People’s Hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were collected as the research object of this subject.According to SPSS simple random sampling method, the 70 cases of patients were divided into group A and group B.Group A was the treatment group and group B was the control group.Group A was treated with warm needle row acupuncture therapy combined with massage therapy, and group B was treated with massage therapy by itself. Both groups were treated once a day,7 times in a row as a course of treatment,a total of 2 treatment courses, and 1 day interval between 2 courses.ROM of the whole lumbar range of motion, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)Score and electromyography of the common peroneal nerve and the tibial nerve were recorded before and after treatment for patients, and then statistical description and analysis were performed using SPSS23.0.Results:1.The whole lumbar range of motion: both groups improved after treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).2.The Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)Score: both groups improved after treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.The occurrence rate of F wave of electromyography of the common peroneal nerve and the tibial nerve: both groups improved after treatment. The treatment group was better than the control group in improving the occurrence rate of F wave of electromyography of the common peroneal nerve(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in improving the occurrence rate of F wave of electromyography of the tibial nerve(P>0.05).4.There was a total of 70 patients in the two groups. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.40%.The total effective rate of the control group was 82.90%.After 2 courses of treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in overall efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both warm needle row acupuncture therapy combined with massage therapy and massage therapy by itself can improve the symptoms of patients with the cold-dampness type of lumbar disc herniation.2.The combination of warm needle row acupuncture therapy with massage therapy can improve the lumbar range of motion, increase the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)Score, relieve the pain of patients. It can improve the occurrence rate of F wave of electromyography of the common peroneal nerve and the tibial nerve for patients with the cold-dampness type of lumbar disc herniation with manifestations of sciatica, and it has a better therapeutic effect than the massage therapy group on improving the occurrence rate of electromyography F wave of the common peroneal nerve. |
