| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in rapid recovery after total hip arthroplasty(THA)and evaluate its safety.It provides new ideas for clinical integration of Chinese and Western medicine to promote rehabilitation after total hip replacement,reduces postoperative complications of patients,and improves patients’ satisfaction with treatment and quality of life.Methods:This study collected the clinical data of 60 patients who underwent total hip arthroplasty in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2018 to December 2020.The principle of informed consent of the patients was adopted and the random stratified digital table method was used.Divided into observation group and control group,each group has 30 patients.The observation group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction.There was no statistical difference between the two groups in gender,age,height,and body mass index.The indexes of D-dimer,hemoglobin,perioperative blood loss,thigh circumference,postoperative VAS pain score,postoperative deep vein thrombosis,and Harris score of hip joint function were recorded and compared in each group.Results:In this experiment,all cases cooperated to complete the study.There were no cases of falling out.All data were processed by SPSS17.0.The specific results of each observation index are as follows:(1)The two groups of patients were in gender,age,height,and weight.There is no statistical difference in index and so on.(2)Comparing the two groups of patients before and 5 days after the operation of plasma D-dimer,the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).(3)The hemoglobin counts of the two groups were compared 3 days after the operation and 7 days after the operation.There was no significant difference in the hemoglobin counts between the two groups in the observation group on the 3rd day after the operation(P>0.05).The hemoglobin counts between the two groups on the 7th day after the operation were not statistically significant.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(4)The intraoperative blood loss and hidden blood loss were compared between the two groups of patients(all patients participating in this study did not have a drainage tube placed after the operation).The apparent blood loss during the operation was higher in the observation group than in the control group,and the postoperative drainage and hidden blood loss Sexual blood loss was lower than that of the control group.After analysis of variance,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in total blood loss during the perioperative period(P>0.05).(5)Comparing the thigh circumference of the two groups on the 3rd and 7th day after operation,the degree of lower limb swelling in the observation group was better than that in the control group.After analysis of variance,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)Comparing the Harris scores of hip joint function on the 3rd and 7th day after operation between the two groups of patients,the Harris score of hip joint function of the observation group was higher than that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant by analysis of variance(P<0.05).(7)The VAS scores of the two groups of patients were compared on the first day,the third day,and the seventh day after the operation.The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant by analysis of variance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction after total hip arthroplasty can reduce the plasma D-dimer concentration in patients,improve postoperative swelling of the affected limb,reduce postoperative pain,promote early postoperative functional recovery,and among other things Compared with the control studies,the complications have no disadvantages,and they have good safety.It provides a new idea for the combination of Chinese and Western medicine to promote the rapid recovery of patients after total hip replacement,which is worthy of further clinical application. |
