Clinical Observation Of Guizhi Fuling Pills And Shenqi Pills In Treating Vascular Cognitive Impairment Of Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective:To explore the efficacy of Guizhi Fuling Pills combined with Shenqi Pills in the treatment of patients with vascular cognitive impairment with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,and to observe the improvement of cognitive function,ability of daily living and blood hs-CRP levels in patients with vascular cognitive impairment Situation and conduct a safety assessment.Methods:A total of 60 patients with vascular cognitive impairment who attended the Department of Neurology,Jiangmen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Jinan University from December 2019 to January 2021 were selected.The maximum age is 80 years old and the youngest age is 42 years old.There were 38 male patients and 22 female patients.The selected candidates were randomly divided into a test group and a control group(30 cases in each group).The control group received basic treatment+Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets orally,and the test group received Guizhi Fuling Pill and Shenqi Pill decoction in addition to the above intervention measures for 4 consecutive weeks of intervention.Evaluate MMSE scale evaluation,Mo CA scale evaluation,ADL scale evaluation,blood hs-CRP level,TCM syndrome scores and TCM efficacy of patients before and after intervention.At the same time,record the adverse reactions during the intervention process and monitor the safety indicators.Results:(1)TCM syndrome scores and TCM effects:After the intervention,the syndrome scores of the two groups tended to decrease(P<0.01),but after the intervention,the reduction in the test group had an advantage over the control group(P<0.01).In terms of the curative effect of TCM syndromes,the test group and the control group have 76% and 30%total effective rates(P<0.01).The test group has obviously better curative effects.(2)Cognitive function scale evaluation:the scores of the MMSE scale and the Mo CA scale of the two groups after the intervention tended to rise compared with those before the intervention(P<0.01),but after the intervention,the two cognitive scales of the test group The score level was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)Evaluation of the ability of daily living: After the intervention,the ADL scale scores of the two groups tended to be lower than before the intervention(P<0.01),but after the intervention,the ADL scale scores of the test group decreased better than those of the control group(P<0.05).(4)Blood hs-CRP level:After the intervention,the blood hs-CRP level of the two groups had no obvious change trend compared with that before the intervention(P>0.05),and the results of the two groups were roughly the same after the intervention(P>0.05).(5)Safety:there were no major adverse events in both groups.Conclusion:Guizhi Fuling Pills and Shenqi Pills combined with Western medicine treatment can better improve the cognitive function,daily life ability and TCM syndromes of patients with vascular cognitive impairment with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome than pure Western medicine treatment.It has certain clinical value.But it failed to improve the blood hs-CRP level in patients with VCI kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.
