Objective:1.To understand the benefit of caregivers of children with acute leukemia.2.Objective to explore the related factors of caregivers’ sense of benefit in the care of children with acute leukemia. Methods:Using a simple and convenient sampling survey method, the caregivers of children with acute leukemia hospitalized from November2019 to November 2020 were selected as the research objects. All the patients were admitted to the blood tumor departments of three Grade-A hospitals in Zhengzhou city.Questionnaire forms include: basic situation questionnaire, simple coping style questionnaire, caregiver benefit scale, caregiver burden scale and so on.The sample number of this survey is376 child caregivers,363 valid questionnaires were collected, and the questionnaires were numbered in turn.Excel was used to establish the database of questionnaire results, and SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis.Descriptive analysis was conducted on the general data of patients and caregivers: frequency and constituent ratio were used for count data, mean ± standard deviation was used for measurement data;independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to explore the related factors influencing caregivers’ sense of benefit, with P < 0.05 as the difference, which was statistically significant.Results:1.General information of children with acute leukemia: most of the children were 7-12 years old, accounting for 56.8%,of which 232 were boys, accounting for63.9%;254 were suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, accounting for 70.0%;the severity of the disease was generally 229,accounting for 63.1%;253(69.7%)were rural cooperative medical system, accounting for the largest proportion.2.General information of caregivers of children with acute leukemia: 237(65.3%)were aged from 33 to 40 years old, accounting for the largest proportion, among which 282(77.7%)were mothers, accounting for the majority;the vast majority had no religious belief: 362(99.7%);348(95.9%)were Han nationality,15(4.1%)were minority nationality;most caregivers had 2 children,a total of 273(75.2%)were children)353(97.2%)had spouses;the monthly income of caregivers was mainly1000-2999 yuan, accounting for 62.3%;the highest education level of caregivers was junior high school or below, accounting for 142(39.1%);149(41.0%)had no occupation, and 214(59.0%)had occupation.3.Through the statistical analysis of the relevant data of the caregivers of children with leukemia,it can be seen that the overall score of their sense of benefit is between 64 and 104 points, with an average of about(83.34 ± 6.96)points.Among these dimensions, the highest score was family growth(26.56±2.68),followed by health promotion(22.79 ± 3.74),personal growth(22.56 ± 2.99)and self-improvement(11.42±2.32).4.The variables related to caregivers’ sense of benefit were as follows : After statistical analysis,it was found that there were significant differences in the scores of caregivers of different age groups(P < 0.05);the total score of caregivers’ sense of benefit was negatively correlated with developmental handicapped burden and negative coping style(r =-0.149,P = 0.004);the dimension of personal growth was negatively correlated with physical burden(r =-0.158,P = 0.003)and negative coping style(r =-0.129,P = 0.014)Family growth dimension was positively correlated with social support(r = 0.145,P = 0.006);self sublimation dimension was negatively correlated with time dependence burden(r =-0.129,P = 0.014).5.Influencing factors of benefit feeling of caregivers of children with leukemia: seven variables, including caregiver’s age and children’s age,time-dependent burden, developmental hindrance burden, physical burden, negative coping and social support, were regarded as independent variables, and multiple linear regression analysis was conducted. The regression equation was benefit feeling = 87.078-1.467 * patient’s age-0.212* 415 * social support, with statistical significance(F = 8.064,P < 0.001).Conclusion:1.In the treatment of children with acute leukemia, caregivers have a sense of benefit, especially in family growth and health promotion.1.Through the caregivers of children with acute leukemia, affect the sense of benefit factors include: children with children’s age,the age of the caregivers, caregiver burden, coping styles and social support, pay more attention to younger and younger children to take care of this kind of crowd, from the Angle of the positive guiding caregivers constantly improve the level of benefit feeling, make people recognize the value of taking care of children with care,so as to effectively improve the quality of care,to improve the quality of life in children with. The main influencing factors of the sense of benefit of caregivers of children with acute leukemia are: the age of children, the age of caregivers, the time-dependent dimension of the burden of care, the developmental hindrance dimension and the physical burden dimension, the coping style of caregivers, and perceived social support.
