| Objective: To explore the application value of quantitative parameters of DKI technology in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of brain tuberculoma and brain metastases.Methods: A total of 15 patients with cerebral tuberculosis tumor(20 effective lesions were selected)and 22 patients with brain metastases(30 effective lesions were selected)who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and met the inclusion criteria from December 2019 to December 2020 were collected.Routines MRI and DKI scanning were performed for both groups.GE ADW4.4 post-processing workstation was used to measure the quantitative parameters of DKI in each area of interest of the two groups of cases,and the data of parameter indexes FA,MD,MK,AK and RK were obtained.The parameter values of the two groups of cases were statistically analyzed,and further ROC curve analysis was made.Results:Statistical analysis of the values of each parameter showed that the values of MK,AK and RK in the parenchymal areas of brain metastases and brain tuberculosis tumors were increased and the values of MD were decreased compared with those in the parenchymal areas of brain tuberculosis tumors(P<0.05).Compared with the edema area of brain tuberculomas,the MD value decreased and the FA value increased in the edema area of brain metastases(P<0.05).The comparison of parameter values of the three ROI regions in the brain tuberculosis tumor group showed that: the lesion parenchyma area,the edema area and the normal area were compared,P<0.05;the comparison of parameter values of the three ROI regions in the brain tuberculosis tumor group showed that: the lesion parenchyma area,the edema area and the normal area were compared,P<0.05,indicating that there were statistical differences in at least two or more regions.According to the ROC curve,the areas under the curves of MK,AK and RK were 0.937,0.911 and 0.883,respectively(P<0.05).The sensitivity of MK,AK and RK values were 83.9%,83.9% and82.1%,respectively,and the specificity was 91.9%,93.5% and 79,respectively.Conclusion: Quantitative parameters of DKI can provide a basis for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of brain metastases and cerebral tuberculomas.MK value,AK value and RK value have higher diagnostic efficiency. |
