| Objective: The clinical effect of the corrected intraocular lens and the single focus intraocular lens after implantation was evaluated by analyzing the visual function and life-related quality.Methods: from June 2019 to December 2020,75 patients(96 eyes)underwent phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.Among them,41 patients(48 eyes)were implanted with presbyopia correction intraocular lens,including 27 males(31 eyes),14females(17 eyes),34 patients(48 eyes)were implanted with monofocal intraocular lens,including 23 males(30 eyes),There were 11 females(18 eyes).The Chinese version of the National Eye institution visual functioning questionnaire-25(NEI-VFQ-25),uncorrected distance visual acuity(UCDVA),uncorrected near visual acuity(UCNVA)were completed Best corrected distance visual acuity(BCDVA)and best corrected near visual acuity(BCNVA).Three months after operation,the patients filled in the questionnaire NEI-VFQ-25 again,examined UCDVA,UCNVA,BCDVA and BCNVA,and measured the defocusing curve(DFC),The changes of preoperative and postoperative indexes in each group and the postoperative indexes between the two groups were compared.Results: UCDVA,BCDVA,BCNVA,and UCNVA were significantly improved in the single focus group and presbyopia correction group 3 months after operation.There was no significant difference in UCDVA,BCDVA,and BCNVA between the two groups,but there was significant difference in UCNVA.UCNVA in presbyopia correction group was significantly better than that in the single focus group,The defocusing curve of the two groups showed that the area under the curve of presbyopia correction group was larger than that of the single focus group,and the distance to near distance curve changed more smoothly.Compared with the single focus group,the defocusing curve of the single focus group showed a significant downward trend,and the visual acuity of the two groups had no significant difference at 0 d(distance5 m),The difference between-2.5D(near distance 33 cm)and-1.5D(middle distance66 cm)was statistically significant.According to the questionnaire of NEI-VFQ-25 before and after operation,the quality of life in both groups was significantly improved.Conclusion: Presbyopia corrected intraocular lens and monofocal intraocular lens can provide good postoperative distant vision for patients.Presbyopia corrected intraocular lens can provide better near vision and significantly improve visual function related quality of life. |
