Clinical Observation Of MI60 And ZCB00 Aspheric Single Focus Intraocular Lens Implantation

Objective:To compare the capacity of pseudo-accommodation(PAC)of two aspheric single focus intraocular lens(SIOL)with different materials and designs,and to probe the related factors affecting PAC,.so as to provide more reference for the improvement of SIOL.Methods:19 cases(25 eyes)who underwent cataract phacoemulsification combined with MI60 IOL implantation in our hospital from January 2019 to October 2020 were selected as the group MI60;20 cases(25 eyes)who underwent cataract phacoemulsification combined with ZCB00 IOL implantation were selected as a group ZCB00.The UCDVA,BCDVA,UCNVA and BCNVA of the group MI60 and the group ZCB00 were measured at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation and the anterior chamber depth method was used to measure the objective pseudoaccommodative of the two groups as well.The defocus curve method was used to compare the subjective pseudo accommodation of the group MI60 and the group ZCB00,three months after operation.Results:1.Vision: There was no significant difference in UCDVA,BCDVA and BCNVA between the group MI60 and the group ZCB00 at the corresponding time point(P >0.05).The UCNVA of the group MI60 was 0.48 ± 0.16,0.50 ± 0.13 and 0.44 ± 0.12 at1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation respectively,the UCNVA of the group ZCB00 was 0.29 ± 0.11,0.30 ± 0.09 and 0.25 ± 0.08 at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation respectively,the UCNVA of the group MI60 was better than that of the group ZCB00 at the corresponding time point after operation,and the differences were significant(P < 0.05).2.Objective pseudo-accommodative: The objective pseudo-accommodative power of the group MI60 at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation was(0.92±0.18)D,(0.85±0.18)D,(0.71±0.11)D,the objective pseudo-accommodative power of the group ZCB00 at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation was(0.69±0.09)D,(0.62±0.10)D,(0.48±0.06)D,the objective pseudo-accommodation of the group MI60 was better than that of the group ZCB00 at the corresponding time point(P <0.05).3.Defocus curves: At 3 months after operation,both groups had better distant vision.The peak value was at-0.5D in the group ZCB00 and-1D in the group ZCB00,In the group MI60,there was an obvious downward trend at-2.5 ~-4D,while in the group MI60,the decrease was gentle and have higher vision than that in the group ZCB00,indicating that the near vision of the group MI60 was better than that of the group ZCB00.4.Postoperative time:The UCNVA of the group MI60 and the group ZCB00 at 6months after operation was less than that at 3 months or 1 month after operation;The objective pseudo-accommodation at 6 months after operation was less than that at 3months after operation,and that at 3 months after operation was less than that at 1month after operation.5.Age: UCNVA and pseudo-accommodation of MI60 group were not correlated with age at 1,3 and 6 months after operation.Conclusions:1.PAC of MI60 IOL was better than that of ZCB00 at 1 month,3 months and 6months after operation.MI60 can provide better near vision than ZCB00,and can restore part of near visual function.2.In patients with MI60 and ZCB00 IOL implants,the PAC will decrease to a certain extent as the postoperative time increases,which may be related to the fibrosis and sclerosis of the capsular bag.3.There was no correlation between UCNVA and pseudo-accommodation at 1,3and 6 months after operation.4.MI60 four-loop design hydrophilic SIOL and ZCB00 C-shaped loop design hydrophobic SIOL,both can provide good UCDVA for patients,but the UCNVA and PAC of MI60 is better,indicating that SIOL with different materials and loop designs can provide similar far vision,but the near vision and subjective and objective pseudoaccommodation provided is pretty different.
