Objective:To observe the characteristics of different Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome types in patients with NSCLC(non-small cell lung cancer)and their correlation with β3GnT8,CD 147 and other objective indicators in serum,so as to provide objective basis for clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment,deepen the guidance for the diagnosis and treatment of different syndrome types of NSCLC,and explore the clinical significance of β3GnT8 and CD147.Methods:A total of 128 patients with NSCLC who met the criteria were selected to collect their age,gender,pathological type,postoperative metastasis and other basic information.According to the syndrome differentiation and classification,the syndrome of deficiency of both spleen and lung,phlegm-dampness amassing in lung,deficiency of both Qi and Yin,and internal static blood obstruction were classified.The expression levels of β3GnT8 and CD 147 in patients were recorded to establish a database.Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0 software to analyze the correlation between γ3GnT8 and CD 147’s expression levels,patients’ basic information,blood routine,tumor markers and other objective indicators with different TCM syndrome types of non-small cell lung cancer.Results:1.There were significant differences in β3GnT8 and CD 147 expression between patients with NSCLC and healthy people(P<0.05).The expression level of patients with NSCLC was significantly higher than that of healthy people,and there was a significant positive correlation between the two.Spearman correlation coefficient R=0.261,(P<0.05).2.The expression levels of β3GnT8 and CD 147 in patients with NSCLC were different among different TCM syndrome types(syndrome of deficiency of both spleen and lung,phlegm-dampness amassing in lung,deficiency of both Qi and Yin,and internal static blood obstruction)(P<0.05),which was of statistical significance.Further comparison of β3GnT8 showed that the level of syndrome of deficiency of both spleen and lung was lower than that of deficiency of both Qi and Yin,and internal static blood obstruction.In the aspect of CD 147,the level of syndrome of deficiency of both spleen and lung was lower than that of the syndrome of internal static blood obstruction.3.There were no significant differences in age,pathological types and distribution of metastatic sites among different TCM syndrome types of patients with NSCLC.There were differences in gender distribution(P<0.05).In the sy ndrome of deficiency of both spleen and lung,the majority of patients were female.In the syndrome of phlegm-dampness amassing in lung and internal static blood obstruction,the male patients were in the majority.KPS scores were different(P<0.05).The scores of patients with syndrome of deficiency of both spleen and lung and phlegm-dampness amassing in lung were concentrated in 40<KPS<70 while that of syndrome of deficiency of both Qi and Yin,and internal static blood obstruction were concentrated in KPS<40 and 40<KPS<70.4.In the comparison of blood routine,NLR,CRP and tumor markers among different TCM syndrome types of patients with NSCLC,there were differences in white blood cell count(P<0.05):the syndrome of blood stasis and internal obstruction>the syndrome of deficiency of lung and spleen.There were differences in neutrophils count between the groups(P<0.05):the syndrome of blood stasis and internal obstruction>the syndrome of deficiency of lung and spleen.5.KPS score,neutrophil count,lymphocyte count and hemoglobin had negative correlation with serum β3GnT8,while white blood cell count,NLR and CEA had positive correlation.Gender,KPS score and hemoglobin had negative correlation with serum CD147,while NLR and CEA had positive correlation.Conclusions:1.Compared with healthy people,serum β3GnT8 and CD 147 were highly expressed in patients with NSCLC(P<0.05),and there was a positive correlation between the two,which may have certain reference value for the diagnosis of NSCLC,but further study is needed.2.There were differences in serum β3GnT8 and CD 147 among different TCM syndrome types of NSCLC(syndrome of deficiency of both spleen and lung,phlegm-dampness amassing in lung,deficiency of both Qi and Yin,and internal static blood obstruction),and the expression of β3GnT8 and CD147 was significantly increased in syndrome of deficiency of both Qi and Yin and internal static blood obstruction(P<0.05).At the same time,we also found that different TCM syndrome types in gender,KPS score,white blood cell count,neutrophils count also have certain differences(P<0.05).3.KPS score,NLR,hemoglobin and CEA were correlated with serum β3GnT8 and CD 147 in NSCLC patients.
