Clinical Observation On Treating Syndrome Of Dampness-heat Due To Spleen Deficiency Of IBS-D By Shen Ge Jian Pi Fang

Objective:The goal is to observe the clinical efficacy by appling the Shen Ge Jian Pi Decoction to treat the patients’ who tolerated the syndrome of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach of IBS-D.Through statistics,assay and summary,it provides data for the remedy for IBS-D with the syndrome of dampness-heat owing to spleen deficiency,and provides an objective basis of the diagnosis and treatment for traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:60 patients suffering from IBS-D with the syndrome of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach who met the criterion of this study were collected from the outpatients.On the basis of the method of random number table,they were divided into the two groups(treatment group and control group)averagely.Patients were given Shen Ge Jian Pi Decoction in the treatment group,and the control group’s subjects took pinaverium bromide tablets.The course of medication was 4 weeks in both groups.This study data mainly came from questionnaire(patient information table,Chinese medicine symptom integral scale,Bristol stool form scale and IBS-SSS scale).The datas including sex,age,course of disease and Chinese medicine symptoms integral,Bristol stool form scale,IBS-SSS score,etc before and after treatment were statistically compared and analyzed by using SPSS25.0 software.Results:1.General data contrast:Before remedy,the dissimilar groups had no significant differences in their gender,age,and so.Likewise,in TCM symptom scores,stool traits,and IBS-SSS scores,there were no distinctions and the consequences were comparable.2.Evaluation of the curative effect of TCM symptoms:in Shen Ge Jian Pi Fang’s group,the healer had 1 person,18 patients had noteworthy results,10 cases were effective,and 1 case was invalid.By calculating,the overall effective rate was up to 96.7%.While all control group patients were not cured after taking the pinaverium bromide tablets,of which 6 patients showed no obvious efficacy,a total of 8 cases had significant efficacy,16 cases were effective.The total effective rate was 80.0%.According to Fisher’s exact test,p=0.015,which is statistically significant,it verified that Shenge Jianpi Decoction was better than pinaverium bromide in treating syndrome of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach of IBS-D.3.Comparison of TCM symptom scores:there were significant differences in group analysis(p<0.01),suggesting that both drugs can reduce the total TCM symptom score,the main symptom score,the major symptom single item score,and the minor symptom total score.The comparison between groups,p<0.01,indicated that compared with western medicine,Shen Ge Jian Pi Decoction reduced the above points to a greater extent,and could better improve the patients’ TCM symptoms,such as abdominal pain,diarrhea,foul defecation,and urgent bowel movements.4.Comparison of Bristol stool form traits:within the group analysis,p<0.01,the difference was significant,indicating that Chinese and Western medicines had a certain effect on the improvement of stool traits.The analysis between groups,p<0.01,had significant distinction.After remedy,the stool chara cteristics of patients in the TCM group were closer to normal stool characteristics,suggesting that Shen Ge Jian Pi Fang was better than pinaverium bromide in improving stool characteristics.5.Comparison of IBS-SSS total score:within the group analysis,p<0.01,there was a conspicuous statistical difference,suggesting that both Chinese and Western medicine could reduce the severity of the patient’s condition.Analysis between groups,p<0.01,indicated that traditional Chinese medicine had more advantages in alleviating the patient’s condition.6.Comparison of IBS-SSS points:within the group analysis p<0.01,the distinction was prominent,indicating that Chinese and Western medicines have obvious curative effects in five aspects:the degree and frequency of abdominal pain,the level of abdominal distension and so on.Between groups,the assay and contrast of the level of abdominal distension(p>0.05)existed no obvious difference,indicating that the two drugs all have the remission in the patient’s abdominal distension,and the traditional Chinese medicine had no obvious advantage.Whereas,in the extent and frequency of bell,satisfaction with defecation and the impact on quality of life(p<0.01),there were conspicuous distinctions.Shenge Jianpi Decoction could obviously alleviate the pain degree and the frequency of pain during the onset of the patient,and it could signally enhance patients’ satisfaction during defecation and greatly reduce the adverse impact of disease on life.7.Contrast of recurrence:4 weeks after the end of treatment,between both groups(p<0.05),it existed a distinction in the recurrence rate.By employing Chinese medicine,the recurrence rate only was 3.45%,and that of the another group was as high as 33.33%,manifesting that as far as the long-term effect,Shen Ge Jian Pi Fang was better.Conclusion:For the patients who put up with the syndrome of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach of IBS-D,Shen Ge Jian Pi Fang exhibits high safety and can visibly abate the clinicbellyacheal manifestation of patients with bellyache,diarrhea,urgency of defecation and so on,it also can ameliorate the patient’s stool characteristics,increase patient’s satisfaction with defecation,improve the quality of life,and have considerable long-term therapeutic effect.In a word to sum up,Shen Ge Jian Pi Fang is worthy of further application and promotion in clinical practice.
