Effect Of Governor Vessel Moxibustion On Symptom Control Level Of Chronic Persistent Asthma Patients With Deficiency Of Both Lung And Kidney

Object:To observe the pulmonary function and clinical symptom control level of patients with chronic persistent bronchial asthma with deficiency of both lung and kidney before and after treatment,so as to provide clinical reference for the treatment of asthma with deficiency of both lung and kidney.The feasibility of using Governor vessel moxibustion(GVM)in the treatment of respiratory diseases was also discussed.Methods:Forty-nine patients with chronic asthma deficiency of lung and kidney treated by moxibustion in the Department of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation of Jiangsu Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to October 2020 were randomly divided into two groups:GVM group(n=24)and Control group(n=25).The control group was treated with budesonide formoterol powder inhalation,and the Governor vessel meridian moxibustion group was treated with Governor vessel pulse moxibustion on the basis of the control group.The ACT score,clinical symptom score and TCM syndrome score and FEV1%and FEV1/FVC were evaluated,before and after treatment and 1 and 3 months after treatment.Results:(1)intra-group comparison:there was no significant difference in FEV1%and FEV1/FVC in pulmonary function indexes between the two groups before and after treatment.The ACT scores of GVM group after treatment and 1 month after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment,and 3 months after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05).The scores of clinical symptoms and TCM syndromes in GVM group after treatment and 1 month and 3 months after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.01).The ACT score of the control group after treatment was significantly different from that before treatment,and the clinical symptom scores of the control group at 1 month and 3 months after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05).The clinical symptom scores of the control group after treatment and 1 month and 3 months after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.01).In the control group,the scores of TCM syndromes after treatment and 1 month after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.01),and the scores of TCM syndromes 3 months after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05).Among them,the improvement of cold phobia was the most significant(P<0.01).(2)comparison between groups:there was no significant difference in FEV1%,FEV1/FVC and clinical symptom score of asthma between GVM group and control group.There was significant difference in ACT score and TCM syndrome score between GVM group and control group after treatment.Conclusion:GVM can improve the clinical symptoms and TCM syndromes of patients with asthma,and is obviously superior to the western medicine group in improving the control level of asthma and TCM syndromes.For patients with asthma whose main symptoms are fear of cold,Governor vessel meridian moxibustion has a better effect.
