Clinical Observation Of Weining Decoction In Treating Cancer-related Fatigue In Patients With Advanced Gastric Cancer

Objective:To explore the intervention effect of Weining Decoction on cancer-related fatigue in patients with advanced gastric cancer with deficiency of the spleen and kidney,so as to provide a reference for the clinical treatment of cancer-related fatigue in patients with gastric cancer,and to provide clinical evidence for the development and utilization of Weining Decoction in the future.Methods: Sixty-four chemotherapy patients with advanced gastric cancer and cancer-related fatigue,who were in accordance with the TCM syndrome and had deficiency of both spleen and kidney,from the Department of Oncology,Ruikang Hospital,Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,were randomly divided into treatment group(32 cases)and control group(32cases).The control group was treated with a simple oxaliplatin + calcium leucovorin + 5-fluorouracil(FOLFOX4)chemotherapy regimen,and the treatment group was taken orally combined with Weining Decoction on the basis of the control group.One course of treatment was 14 days,and both groups were treated for 4 courses.The changes of Piper Fatigue Scale score,TCM syndrome score,KPS score,immunoglobulin level,blood routine,liver and kidney function were compared between the two groups before and after4 courses of treatment,and the data were collected and sorted out.Finally,all the data were statistically analyzed by spss25.0 statistical software,and the conclusion was drawn.Results: ⑴Comparison of clinical total effective rate: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 70%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).⑵TCM syndrome score: after treatment,the total score and the score of epigastric pain,mental fatigue,anorexia,soreness and weakness of waist and knee in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);compared with the treatment group,the total score,the score of mental fatigue,anorexia and anorexia in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).⑶Piper fatigue revision scale score comparison: After treatment,the total fatigue score and emotional fatigue score of the control group increased compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the total fatigue score,behavior,emotion,and physical score of the treatment group decreased and all Lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the improvement in cognition was not significant(P>0.05).⑷Comparison of KPS scores: The KPS scores of the treatment group after treatment were higher than those before and after treatment in the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.⑸Comparison of immunoglobulin levels: After treatment,the levels of Ig A,Ig G,and Ig M in the control group were lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no statistical difference in the levels of Ig A,Ig G,and Ig M in the treatment group before and after treatment(P>0.05),but they were all higher than the levels of Ig A,Ig G and Ig M after treatment in the control group(P<0.05).⑹Observation of safety indicators:After treatment,the levels of white blood cells,neutrophils and hemoglobin in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05);compared with the control group before and after treatment,there was no difference in alanine aminotransferase and creatinine in the treatment group Statistical significance(P>0.05);the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions in the treatment group(26.7%)was lower than that in the control group(56.7%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);no serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups.Conclusions:⑴Weining Decoction can effectively reduce the fatigue degree,relieve some clinical symptoms,improve the immune function,reduce the occurrence of some adverse reactions of chemotherapy,and improve the quality of life in patients with cancer-related fatigue of spleen kidney deficiency type of gastric cancer.⑵Weining Decoction can significantly benefit patients with cancer-related fatigue in advanced gastric cancer,and has good safety,which is worthy of further clinical promotion.
