Efficacy Of Furong Ointment Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine In Treating Moderate And Severe Acne Of Bile Heat And Spleen Cold Type

ObjectiveTo observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Furong ointment combined with Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction in the treatment of moderate and severe acne of bile heat and spleen cold type,and to provide an exact and effective pure traditional Chinese medicine treatment for moderate and severe acne of bile heat and spleen cold typeMethodsThis research adopts the prospective randomized controlled study,collected in May 2020 to January 2021 in guangdong hospital outpatient service seeing a doctor and the screening in line with the inclusion criteria,66 cases of patients with moderately severe acne,through the random number table is divided into the control group(Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction Orally)33 cases and the experimental group(Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction Orally Combine The External Application Of Furong Ointment)33 cases.Treatment time,a total of 6 weeks,before the treatment,1,2,4,6 weeks after treatment discontinuation and 2 weeks after complete acne comprehensive classification system(globalacnegradingsystem,GAGS)scale and TCM symptom integral table,the researchers calculated separately based on scale of TCM symptoms curati ve effect index and GAGS score curative effect index,according to the curative efficacy judgement index,compared two groups of patients in the treatment of 1,2,4,6 weeks after the clinical curative effect,the total effective rate,After 6 weeks of treatment,GAGS score,TCM syndrome score,recurrence rate 2 weeks after drug withdrawal andscores before and after treatment were compared between the groups.ResultsGood compliance and few adverse reactions.One patient in the control group adopted other therapeutic drugs by himself due to poor efficacy after treatment for two weeks,which was removed;In the experimental group,1 patient withdrew from the study due to skin itching with external application of Furong Ointment.2.After 1 week of treatment,the improvement of skin lesions in the experimental group was better than that in the control group,and the improvement difference in TCM symptoms was not statistically significant.3.After 2 weeks of treatment,the improvement of skin lesions in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group,and the effect of TCM symptoms was similar.4.After 4 weeks of treatment,the effect of skin lesions in the experimental group was better than that in the control group,and there was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups.The clinical efficacy of the experimental group was better than the control group in terms of TCM symptoms,and the difference was statistically significant.5.After 6 weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy of skin lesions in the two groups was similar,and there was no significant difference in total effectiveness between the two groups.6.After 6 weeks of treatment,the scores of acne synthetical grading system in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant.The scores of acne synthetical grading system in the two groups were similar,but the difference was not statistically significant.7.Both the experimental group and the control group showed significant improvement in skin lesions and TCM symptoms after 6 weeks of treatment 8.In the experimental group,2 patients had recurrent skin lesions(6.3%),and in the control group,3 patients had recurrent skin lesions(9.4%),with no statistical significance.There were no serious adverse reactions in two groups during the treatment period and follow-up period.The adverse reaction rate of Furong Ointment was 3.13%,and that of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction was 6.25%.Conclusion1.The skin lesions and TCM symptoms of moderate and severe acne of biliary heat and spleen-cold type were significantly improved by internal administration of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction alone and Furong ointment combined with internal administration of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction.2.The combination of Furong Ointment with Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction in the treatment of bile heat and spleen-cold type acne improved the skin lesions better than the internal administration of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction alone,especially in the four weeks before treatment.3.The improvement of TCM symptoms of bile heat and spleen cold type was similar between two groups.4.The adverse reaction rate of Furong Ointment and Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction is low,and the adverse reaction rate is slight,with high rate of effectiveness,which is worthy of clinical application.
