| ObjectiveTaking massage therapy as a comparison, explore the effectiveness of acupotomy to loosen the coracoid process and tender points combined with massage to treat supraspinatus tendinitis,in order to provide a more comprehensive and effective treatment plan for supraspinatus tendinitis, and to explore the mechanism of this treatment plan.MethodsThe 60 patients with supraspinatus tendinitis who met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria and do not met the exclusion criteria were divided into the control group and the treatment group(30 cases each)by a simple random method, and they were treated with massage treatment, acupotomy to loosen the coracoid process and tender point combined with massage treatment separately. The frequency of treatment is once a week, and once is a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment.Record the pain visual analog scale(VAS),shoulder range of motion(ROM),and ability of daily living(ADL)of all patients before and after treatment, and evaluate the overall curative effect according to the score of shoulder range of motion and ability of daily living, and compare the above indicators between the two groups of patients, and evaluate and compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups through statistical analysis.Results1.Comparison of baseline data:The two groups of patients had no statistically differences in gender and diseased side composition ratio, course of disease, age, and the absevational indicators of shoulder joint VAS score, shoulder joint ROM score and ADL score before treatment(P>0.05),and they were comparable.2.Comparison of scores before and after treatment:After treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups decreased compared with the previous, and the overall ROM and ADL scores increased compared with the previous. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of scores difference before and after treatment:The overall mean of the difference of VAS,ROM and ADL scores before and after treatment in the control group was lower than that in the treatment group, and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of scores after treatment:The overall average of VAS scores in the control group was higher than that in the treatment group, and the overall averages of ROM and ADL scores were lower than the treatment group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of overall curative effect:The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 96.7%and 86.7%,respectively.The overall curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionBoth massage therapy and acupotomy to loosen the coracoid process and tender points combined with massage therapy can improve shoulder pain, mobility, and activity of daily living in patients with supraspinatus tendinitis, but the latter improves more significantly, and the scores after treatment and the overall curative effect is better than the former, indicating that the treatment of supraspinatus tendinitis with acupotomy to loosen the coracoid process and tender point combined with massage is comprehensive and effective, and it is clinically worthy of promotion. |
