Research On The Understanding And Application Of Yintang Point Based On Ancient And Modern Literature

ObjectiveThrough consulting,collecting and sorting out ancient and modern documents related to Yintang point,this paper explores the origin and development of Yintang point and its position specificity and mechanism of action and analyzes the clinical application of Yintang point,in order to explore the dominant diseases and common compatibility of Yintang point,expand the scope of clinical application of contemporary Yintang point,and provide relevant literature references and enlightenment for the future clinical application of this point.MethodsUsing the fifth edition of the Chinese Medical Code,the full-text database of Chinese periodicals and the full-text database of Wanfang academic journals as the retrieval source,the ancient and modern documents related to Yintang acupoint are searched respectively,the contents of the records,knowledge and history of Yintang acupoint are combed,including naming,positioning,inspection,clinical application and etc.The database is established to extract the information of the literature related to clinical treatment according to the source of the literature,the author,the disease,the standard disease name,the primary classification,the secondary classification,the treatment operation,the compatibility acupoint and so on.After perfecting the database,the Python is used to write the code on the PyCharm for frequency statistics and association analysis.ResultsThe Yuan Dynasty "Bian Que Shen Ying Acupuncture Yulong Jing" formally confirmed the name of Yintang point and has been used to this day,before the name of Yintang point has two eyebrows,que,que,que,qu eyebrow,bright,fish waist,eyebrow heart,life palace,five gates,two doors,Shang Dantian and so on.The diagnosis of lung,skin and heart can be used to diagnose the condition of lung,skin and heart,to judge the children’s shock,infantile pox disease and its prognosis,to judge the severity and outcome of the disease,and to predict the decline of menarche in female.In addition,the ancients also had a lot of research on the surface and Qigong of Yintang acupoint.Traditional Chinese Medicine holds that Yintang acupoint has good tonality Modern medicine believes that Yintang acupoint has functions of analgesia,emotion regulation,antidepressant,sleep-wake cycle adj ustment,promoting axonal regeneration of neurons,improving nerve function,improving cognitive function,improving cerebral hemodynamics,inhibiting the occurrence of nasal mucosal inflammation,inhibiting vagus nerve excitability and relieving diaphragm spasm.Through the collation and statistics of literature,a total of 242 ancient documents related to the treatment of Yintang point were included,covering 88 ancient books.Among them,there are 109 related articles of single point treatment,34 kinds of diseases treated by single point,133 articles of compatibility acupoint application,and 169 kinds of diseases treated by compatibility acupoint.Through the collation and statistics of literature,a total of 1499 modern literatures related to Yintang acupoint treatment were included,including 1183 clinical observations(including randomized controlled trials),232 medical records,84 experience,and single-point indications.There are 114 articles,37 kinds of diseases treated by single acupoint,1385 articles on the application of compatible acupoints,and 169 kinds of diseases treated by compatible acupoints.The diseases treated by Yintang point involve internal medicine,surgery,gynecology,pediatrics,ENT and various mental diseases.In ancient times,Yintang point was mainly used to treat pediatric and internal medicine diseases,mainly using acupoint application therapy,and in modern times,it mainly used to treat mental diseases,internal medicine and ENT,mainly using acupuncture therapy.The main function of Yintang point is to treat mental disease,du pulse related diseases,local diseases and spleen and stomach diseases.It has the functions of nourishing spirit,tranquilizing spirit,waking spirit and concentrating spirit,regulating du pulse,foot Yangming stomach meridian and regulating local qi and blood.ConclusionThe ancients had a wide range of knowledge about Yintang point,not limited to clinical treatment,but also involved in disease prevention,diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis.They also had a deep understanding of Wangxiang,Qigong practice and other fields.The contemporary understanding of Yintang point mainly focuses on clinical treatment and experimental research.Through literature excavation,it can be found that the main diseases of Yintang point are various,involving various diseases,especially in the field of mind disease.The main diseases and treatment methods of Yintang point have undergone great changes with the development of the times.The contemporary application of Yintang point is prominent in its function of regulating the mind.Yintang acupoint is involved in mental illness,qi-blood disease,body disease and other fields.The wide treatment range of Yintang acupoint is mainly due to its mode of action of "regulating shen→adjusting qi→adjusting shape".The position specificity of Yintang acupoint shows that it is more closely related to Yuan and God than other acupoints.Yintang acupoint is located in the middle of the brow,belonging to Du meridian acupoint,and corresponding to upper elixir field and Mudwan Palace,which is the key point of regulating primordial shen.
