| BackgroundStroke is divided into ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.Limb hemiplegia is a common dysfunction after stroke, which directly affects the patient’s motor function and activity ability, and seriously affects the patient’s return to social work.Among limb hemiplegia, spastic hemiplegia is the most common occurrence.About 65%of stroke patients will have the symptoms of spastic hemiplegia, most of which occur in the 3rd week to 3 months after the onset.Spasticity refers to intermittent or continuous involuntary contraction of muscles or muscle groups, mainly manifested by increased muscle tone and abnormal movement patterns.Early muscle tone increase helps muscle strength recovery, but if the long-term muscle tone increases without attention,it will seriously affect the patient’s later recovery and cause lifelong disability.Finding an effective treatment to relieve spastic hemiplegia has far-reaching social significance, and it is also one of the important topics in the medical field today. This study observes the curative effect of scalp surrounding acupuncture on spastic hemiplegia after stroke of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type,in order to improve a new method for clinical treatment of this disease. The scalp encircling needle method mentioned in this article refers to the CT/MRI positioning encircling needle initiated by professor Yang Wenhui and professor Jiang Ganghui.ObjectiveBy observing the effect of Scalp Surrounding Acupuncture on the treatment of spastic hemiplegia after stroke with qi deficiency and blood stasis, and using an authoritative rating scale to evaluate its efficacy, this study provides reliable evidence-based medical evidence for the Scalp Surrounding Acupuncture treatment of the disease,as a reference basis for clinical treatment plan selection.MethodsThis study selected patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis type post-stroke spastic hemiplegia who were in the Acupuncture and Tuina Rehabilitation Center and Rehabilitation Nursing Center wards and outpatient clinics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to February 2021.60 cases were randomly assigned to the treatment group(scalp acupuncture group)and the control group(traditional scalp acupuncture group),30 cases in each group. Both groups were given basic treatment with conventional drugs for apoplexy. The treatment group was given scalp acupuncture and the control group was given traditional scalp acupuncture, supplemented by symptomatic and dialectical acupuncture points.Acupuncture was performed once a day, rest on the 7th day of each week.A total of 2 weeks of treatment. Both groups were scored by modified Ashworth scale(MAS),clinical spasticity index(CSI),clinical neurological deficit score(NDS),and activity of daily living scale(ADL)before and after treatment.SPSS24.0 software performs statistical analysis on the data to evaluate the efficacy.Results1.Modified Ashworth Scale(MAS):The treatment ratings of the two groups were significantly lower than before, and the difference between the groups indicated that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the degree of upper limb spasticity. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 76.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 63.33%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant, indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.2.Clinical Spasticity Index(CSI):The CSI scores of the two groups were lower than before, suggesting that the degree of spasticity improved after treatment, and the difference between the groups suggested that there was no difference in improving the degree of lower limb spasticity between the two groups.3.Clinical neurological deficit(NDS):The NDS scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before, suggesting that the neurological function of the two groups recovered significantly after treatment, and the difference between the groups suggests that the two groups are better than the control group in terms of neurological recovery.4.Activities of daily living(ADL):The ADL scores of the two groups were significantly higher than before, suggesting that the activities of daily living in the two groups were significantly improved after treatment, and the difference between the groups suggested that the two groups had no significant improvement in the ability of daily living difference.Conclusion1.Scalp surrounding acupuncture can effectively improve the degree of spasm of the affected limb, can effectively promote the recovery of the patient’s nerve function, and improve the patient’s ability of daily living.2.The scalp surrounding acupuncture method is significantly better than the traditional scalp acupuncture in reducing the grading of the affected upper limb spasticity, clinical efficacy, and nerve function recovery. |
