Clinical Observation On Chaisu Decoction In The Treatment Of Children With Cough Variant Asthm-a And Shaoyang Cough

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of chaisu Decoction in the treatment of children cough variant asthma with Shaoyang cough,and to further summarize the clinical experience of the tutor in the treatment of the disease with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:64 children with cough variant asthma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,32 cases in each group.The treatment group was given chaisu Decoction orally,and the control group was given montelukast sodium chewable tablets orally.The course of treatment was 2 weeks.Before and after treatment,cough visual analogue scale(VAS),symptom and sign score,pulmonary function index and exhaled nitric oxide were recorded respectively.The scores and indexes were analyzed by spss24.0 statistical software to objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of chaisu Decoction in the treatment of this disease.Result:1.Clinical efficacy: the effective rate of the treatment group was 75.00%,and that of the control group was 53.13%,P < 0.01,the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.2.Comparison of TCM syndromes: after treatment,the total score of TCM Syndromes of the two groups were significantly decreased,P < 0.01,and the treatment group could better improve the clinical symptoms of children than the control group,P < 0.05;in the improvement of main symptoms,there was no significant difference between the two groups,P > 0.05,but in terms of concurrent symptoms,the improvement effect of the treatment group was better than the control group,P < 0.01.3.Cough visual simulation score: the two groups could improve the cough visual simulation symptoms,and the difference was not statistically significant,P > 0.05.4.Laboratory examination: FVC,FEV1 and PEF indexes of lung function were improved in both groups,and exhaled nitric oxide level was decreased.There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.01).5.Safety evaluation: no serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the experiment.Conclusion:Chaisu Decoction for the treatment of cough variant asthma Shaoyang cough clinical effect is safe and effective,can significantly improve the lung function of children,reduce the level of exhaled nitric oxide.Compared with montelukast sodium,chaisu decoction can better improve the clinical symptoms of children with this disease,and the curative effect is more comprehensive.
