Objectives:To evaluate the skin photoaging and barrier function of middle-aged and elderly healthy women in Kunming area by non-invasive detection technology, and to explore the correlation between the two and the relationship with age,Ultraviolet(UV)exposure, and sunscreen use. Methods:A total of 154 healthy female volunteers aged 40 years and over in Kunming area were collected and the questionnaire was completed. The parameters of facial spots, wrinkles, texture, ultraviolet spots, brown spots, purpurine and pores were analyzed by using VISIA facial imaging technology; The Stratum Corneum hydration,Sebum content,Transpedermal Water Loss,pH,pigment content and other parameters of the zygomatic, preear and postear skin of 132 volunteers were measured by using a noninvasive skin physiological detector.Analyze the skin photoaging and skin barrier of aging healthy women in Kunming area, the correlation between the two non-invasive test results, and the correlation with the use of sunscreen. Results:The absolute values of wrinkles, spots and ultraviolet spots in facial VISIA imaging parameters were different among different age groups(P<0.05).Wrinkles and spots were the smallest in 40-45 years old group and the largest in>60 years old group. There was no significant difference in the absolute value of brown spots among different age groups(P>0.05),indicating that the absolute size of brown spots in 46-50 years old group was the largest, and that in 56-60 years old group was the largest.Correlation analysis of various parameters showed that wrinkles, spots, texture, zygomatic TEWL,pH and melanin were positively correlated with age(P<0.05).The TEWL of zygomatic region was positively correlated with wrinkles. There was a positive correlation between purple and pore(P<0.05).The magnitude of TEWL value in each part is zygomatic part>pre ear>post ear,and the difference between each part is statistically significant(P<0.05).And the zygomatic region, the front of the ear and the back of the ear have significant differences in each age stage(P<0.001).The stratum corneum hydration from high to low is as follows:zygomatic part>pre ear>post ear.Among all volunteers, the difference in stratum comeum hydration between the zygomatic part and the front of the ear,the zygomatic part between the back of the ear are statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the SC water content of the zygomatic region, front of the ear,and behind the ear among all age groups(P>0.05).The sebum content behind the ear was the highest, while the sebum content in the front of the ear was the lowest. The sebum content in all volunteers was significantly different between the zygomatic region and the front of the ear,the zygomatic region and the back of the ear,the front and back of the ear(P<0.05);The content of anterior sebum is significantly different among all age groups(P<0.05);The pH value of each part from small to large was:post ear<pre ear<zygomatic part, and the difference between each part was statistically significant(P<0.001).The exposed part of the zygomatic part, the front of the ear and the non-exposed part of the behind of the ear had significant differences among all age groups(P<0.001);The results showed that the values of melanin and hemoglobin in different parts were:zygomatic>pre ear>post ear,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);in zygomatic skin, the absolute scores of melanin were significantly different among different age groups(P<0.05),and gradually increased with age;The hemoglobin in the zygomatic region,in front of the ear and behind the ear is significantly different in each age stage(P<0.05),and the hemoglobin in the three parts of the 46-50 years old,56-60 years old,and>60 years old group all have significant differences(P<0.05).People who often use sunscreen are less wrinkles and UV spots than those who do not use sunscreen, and have higher water content in the stratum comeum(P<0.05),but there is no obvious difference in spots;people who use sunscreen for a long time have melanin in the cheeks The content is less, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);there is no significant difference in hemoglobin,TEWL,PH,and sebum content between regular use of sunscreen and no sunscreen(P>0.05).Conclusion:In Kunming,middle-aged and elderly healthy women have significant differences in facial imaging parameters and physiological function detection parameters at the zygomatic region, the front of the ear and the back of the non-exposed part of the ear at different ages.Long-term ultraviolet radiation will cause obvious skin photoaging in exposed parts, and significantly increase TEWL value of exposed parts with obvious aging compared with non-exposed parts, impaired skin barrier function, weakened hydration, and significantly increased PH and pigment. With age, wrinkles, spots, and texture gradually increase, and the skin gradually appears dry and rough. However, the use of sunscreen can significantly reduce the production of wrinkles,UV spots, and melanin. This study combines epidemiological investigation, skin physiological function detection and VISIA facial imaging technology to more comprehensively evaluate the photoaging and barrier function of facial skin of middle-aged and elderly women in some areas of Kunming, and evaluates the population in high-altitude and high-ultraviolet regions.Provide reference for skin condition.
