To Study Clinical Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Compound Cataplasm In The Treatment Of Vertebral Disease With Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type (Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy)

ObjectiveObjective to study the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine compound Cataplasm in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of qi stagnation and blood stasis type(cervical spondylotic radiculopathy),provide a theoretical basis for its clinical application,and prove the safety,effectiveness,convenience and easying to operate,and highly targeted as a characteristic therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of cervical spondylosis.MethodsFrom May 2020 to January 2021,60 patients in the Out-Patient Department of orthopedics of Shenzhen Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine were selected.They were diagnosed as cervical spondylotic radiculopathy in western medicine and cervical spondylosis of qi stagnation and blood stasis type in traditional Chinese medicine.The patients were randomly divided into the study group(Application of Chinese medicine compound cataplasm+cervical traction)and the control group(Application of Compound Nanxing Zhitong ointment+cervical traction).After 14 days of continuous treatment,the VAS score,NDI index were evaluated.In the end of the experiment,the clinical efficacy of TCM syndrome was evaluated.In the study group,there were 15 male and 15 female patients,with an average age of 44.36±8.50 years old and an average time of 16.67±6.26 months;in the control group,there were 14 male patients and 16 female patients,with an average age of 43.90±7.79 years old and an average time of 17.76±5.57 months.ResultsThe results showed that:(1)there was no significant difference in gender,age and time of illness between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable;(2)compared with before treatment,the VAS score and NDI of the two groups after 14 days of treatment were significantly higher(3)the total effective rate of the study group was 93.33%,the total effective rate of the control group was 86.67%,the total effective rate of the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05),but the difference in the number of cured patients was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the study group was more effective.ConclusionBoth of the two treatments have satisfactory effects on treatment of cervical spondylosis of qi stagnation and blood stasis type(cervical spondylotic radiculopathy),both can relive the pain and relive the dysfunction in varying degrees,but the traditional Chinese medicine compound Cataplasm has the effect of improving the dysfunction,so it has a more comprehensive therapeutic effect in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of qi stagnation and blood stasis type(cervical spondylotic radiculopathy),what’s more,it is simple,safe and targeted,so it can be further popularized and used in clinic.
