Clinical Study Of Efficacy Of XIANG BI KELI On The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy(QI Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type)

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of XIANG BI KE LI on the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(QI stagnation and blood stasis type).Methods:From November 2018 to August 2019,72 patients were hospitalized in the Second Department of Arthopedics in the inpatient department of Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.They were diagnosed as cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by western medicine and QI stagnation and blood stasis type by traditional Chinese medicine.The patients who selected the conservative treatment plan and met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group according to the random number method,36 cases in each group.In the treatment group,there were 18 males and 18 females with an average age of(44.06±8.61)years and an average course of disease of(17.71±5.91)months.In the control group,there were 17 males and 19 females with an average age of(43.97±7.80)years and an average course of disease of(16.49±6.20)months.The treatment group was treated with XIANG BI KE LI,the control group with JING TONG KE LI,and the two groups were treated with physical therapy at the same time.The patients in both groups took 15 days as a course of treatment.After each course of treatment,the liver and kidney functions were checked.The next course of treatment was carried out three days later,and the total course of treatment were three courses.The VAS score and NDI index were evaluated at the end of each course and 4 months after treatment,and the evaluation of the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medical diseases and syndromes in the last foIlow-up.Results:Finally,data of 69 patients were entered into the result analysis.There were 17 males and 18 females in the treatment group,and 17 males and 17 females in the control group.(1)There was no significant difference in gender,age and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)Compared with the VAS score and NDI index of the patients before treatment,there was significant decreased in 1 course,2 courses,3 courses and 4 months after treatment in the two groups(P＜0.05).Compared with 1 course of treatment,the VAS score and ND1 index of the two groups were significantly reduced after 4 months of treatment(P＜0.05).(3)There was no significant difference in VAS score between the treatment group and the control group before treatment,1 course,2 courses,3 courses and 4 months after treatment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in NDI index between the two groups before treatment,1 course,2 course and 3 course(Pa＞0.05),but there was significant difference in NDI index between the two groups 4 months after treatment(P<0.05).(4)According to the evaluation of clinical curative effect of diseases and syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 100%and that of the control group was 94.12%.There was no stati stical significance between the two groups(P＞0.05).The excel lent add good rate of the treatment group was 85.7%(cure+significant effect)slightly higher than that of the control group(79.4%),but there was no significant difference(P＞0.05).Conclusion:XIANG BI KE LI has a definite curative effect in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.It can improve the clinical symptoms of the patients and is safe and reliable.It is worthy of clinical application.
