Clinical Study Of The Heat Sensitivity Of Moxibustion Induced By Moxa Stick In Different Years

Objective: Observe the differences in the phenomenon of the Heat Sensitivity Of Moxibustion induced by moxa stick in different years,and provide a scientific basis for selecting appropriate moxa stick for clinical moxibustion.Methods: Three groups of subjects who conform to standard were included in this test,i.e.group A(acute stage of knee osteoarthritis,deficiency-yang and excess-yin),group B(primary dysmenorrhea,cold coagulation and blood stasis)and group C(cervical spondylosis,qi stagnation and blood stasis).Each group contains 30 cases.Using a double-blind trial design method,each group of subjects was numbered according to the order in which they entered the group,and a card labeled with 1 to 6 numbers is randomly selected in a corresponding sealed envelope,each number representing a different sequence of moxibustion by a random combination of moxa sticks of three different years.The storage duration of the three kinds of moxa leaves for making moxa sticks is about1 year(July 2018-July 2019),about 3 years(September 2016-September2019),and about 5 years(June 2014-June 2019)(hereinafter referred to as 1 year,3 years,5 years).Group A selected Dubi for three consecutive moxibustions within three days using moxa sticks in different years each time,while group B for Guanyuan and group C for Dazhui in the same procedure.The three groups of moxibustion sequences are double-blind for the operator and the subject.The time of each moxibustion is based on the disappearance of the heat-sensitive moxibustion feeling.Specifically,stop moxibustion after the gas disappears;if there is noheat-sensitive moxibustion,end the moxibustion in 40 minutes,and record the presence or absence of moxibustion.If there is the Heat Sensitivity Of Moxibustion,record the latent period(time from moxibustion to the appearance of moxibustion),the effect period(the time from moxibustion to disappearance),and thermal sensitivity moxibustion scale V1.0 to observe the extent and form of its moxibustion feeling.After all the trials were completed,the blindness was uncovered by another participant,and the data was analyzed and analyzed.Results:1.Comparison of the stimulation rate of the Channel-qiCompared the stimulation rate of the Channel-qi by 3-year-old or5-year-old moxa sticks with that of 1-year-old ones for the three groups,the results were of statistical significance with P<0.05.It demonstrated that the stimulation rate of the Channel-qi by 3-year-old or 5-year-old moxi sticks was higher than that of 1-year-old ones.As for the comparison between 3-year-old and 5-year-old moxa sticks,the results of three groups showed no statistical significance with P>0.05,indicating that there was no difference in the stimulation rate of the Channel-qi by the two different moxa sticks.In addition,the comparison of moxa sticks in different years for the three groups,the difference doesn ′ t have statistical significance with P>0.05,showing that there was no difference in the stimulation rate of the Channel-qi among different disease types.2.Comparison of the incubation period of the heat-sensitive moxibustionCompared the incubation period of the heat-sensitive moxibustion by3-year-old or 5-year-old moxa sticks with that of 1-year-old ones for the three groups,the results were of statistical significance with P<0.05.It demonstrated that the incubation period of Heat Sensitivity OfMoxibustion by 3-year-old or 5-year-old moxa sticks was shorter than that of 1-year-old ones.As for the comparison between 3-year-old and5-year-old moxa sticks,the results of three groups showed no statistical significance with P>0.05.Moreover,the comparison of moxa sticks in different years for the three groups,the difference was not statistically significant with P>0.05,indicating that there was no difference in the incubation period of Heat Sensitivity Of Moxibustion among different disease types.3.Comparison of the duration of the heat-sensitive moxibustion feelingComparison of the duration of the heat-sensitive moxibustion feeling of 3-year-old or 5-year-old moxa sticks with that of 1-year-old ones for the three groups,the results were of statistical significance with P<0.05.It demonstrated that the duration of moxibustion feeling by 3-year-old or 5-year-old moxa sticks was longer than that of 1-year-old ones.As for the comparison between 3-year-old and 5-year-old moxa sticks for the three groups,the results showed no statistical significance with P>0.05,indicating that there was no difference in the persistence of moxibustion feeling by the two different moxa sticks.The comparison of moxa sticks in different years for the three groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that there was no difference in duration of moxibustion feeling among different disease types.4.Comparison of integrated score of the heat-sensitive moxibustion feelingComparison of integrated score of the heat-sensitive moxibustion feeling of 3-year-old or 5-year-old moxa sticks with that of 1-year-old for the three groups,the results were of statistical significance with P<0.05.It showed that integrated score of moxibustion feeling by3-year-old or 5-year-old moxa sticks was higher than that of 1-year-oldones.As for the comparison between 3-year-old and 5-year-old moxa sticks for the three groups,the results showed no statistical significance with P>0.05.The comparison of moxa sticks in different years for the three groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that there was no difference in intensity of moxibustion feeling among different disease types.5.Comparison of the type of the heat-sensitive moxibustion feelingComparison of the type of moxibustion feeling of moxa sticks in different years for the three groups,i.e.comfort emotional experience,autonomic nervous response,heat-sensing transmission and non-heat perception.the results showed no statistical significance with P>0.05.It indicated that there is no difference in the type of moxibustion feeling in different years for the three groups.Conclusion:1.Compared with the one-year storage of new moxa,the 3-year Chen Ai and 5-year Chen Ai are more likely to stimulate the heat-sensitive moxibustion,and the moxibustion feeling appears faster and lasts longer,and the moxibustion sense has more types and strength;There is no difference between 3-year Chen Ai and 5-year Chen Ai.2.The intensity and types of the moxibustion feeling of moxa sticks in different years are independent of the type of disease.
