| Object: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Tongqiao Huoxue Mingmu Decoction on nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy due to Qi stagnation and Blood Stasis.This study will provide objective basis for the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine clinical experience prescription,so as to seek an effective scheme for the treatment of nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy,and provide clinical evidence for its promotion and application.Method: The patients were selected according to the standard from Henan Hospital of Traditional China Medicine,which were randomly divided into t the treatment group and the control group.There were 32cases(32eyes)in each group.The control group were treated by western medicine routine treatment,the experimental group patients were treated by Tongqiao Huoxue Mingmu decoction orally on the basis of conventional western medicine treatment.Two groups of patients were followed up 4weeks for a period of treatment.After treatment,we were observed changes between the two groups on the best corrected visual acuity,visual field mean sensitivity,visual field mean deviation,pattern visual evoked potentials,Chinese medicine symptom integral and efficacy of these treatments.Results:(1)The total effective percentage of the experimental team was 84.38%,and that of the control group was 53.13%.The experimental team was significantly better than the control team(P < 0.05).(2)The curative effect of TCM symptoms was 84.38% in the experimental group,while that in the control group was 43.75%.Compared with the control group,the experimental group had great advantages in improving TCM syndromes,and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).(3)Comparing the experimental group with the control group,we can find that the effect of treatment group was better than that of the control group on best corrected visual acuity,visual field mean sensitivity,visual field mean deviation,pattern visual evoked potentials after the end-of-treatment,the differences was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)After treatment,there were significantly fewer adverse reactions in the experimental group than the control group in a short time,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Tongqiao Huoxue Mingmu decoction can effectively promote the visual acuity,improve visual field defect,increase the amplitude of P100 wave,shorten the incubation period of P100 wave,relieve systemic accompanying symptoms,and significantly reduce the side effects of corticosteroids of NAION patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis.Tongqiao Huoxue Mingmu decoction is a safe and effective prescription for treating NAION with qi stagnation and blood stasis.Tongqiao Huoxue Mingmu decoction combined with puerarin,glucocorticoid and b-group vitamin is a safe and effective treatment for NAION with qi stagnation and blood stasis. |
