Objective:In this study,we aim to by observing and evaluating the clinical efficacy and safety of Modified Huozhi Decoction in the treatment of insomniacs caused by Chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis in compensatory period of the liver depressed and spleen weakness type, providing therapeutic ideas for the clinical treatment of this disease.Methods:1.Ninety-six insomniacs caused by Chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis in compensatory period of the liver depressed and spleen weakness type met the inclusion criteria and were treated in the Liver Disease Center of the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to November 2020.These patients were selected and randomly divided into three groups(Combination group;Chinese medicine group;Western medicine group),with 32 cases in each group.2.All three groups were given antiviral and routine supportive treatment.Combination group: took Modified Huozhi Decoction combined with Eszopiclone Tablets;Chinese medicine group: took Modified Huozhi Decoction;Western medicine group: took Eszopiclone Tablets. The course of treatment for each group is 12 weeks.3.Each group recorded the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)score, liver stiffness measurement,TCM syndrome score(SDSVD),frequency of sleeping pills(times/month)after the end of treatment in the 4th,8th,12 th weeks(3stages),and recorded the total frequency of sleeping pills(times/month)and adverse events after the course of treatment.Follow-up patients’ recurrence 3 months after the end of treatment.4.Three groups of subjects were given clinical routine safety index tests(Stroop Test(seconds),blood routine, coagulating function, liver function, renal function, blood ammonia level,DNA quantitation of hepatitis B,liver stiffness measurement). The test results serve as the basis for evaluating the clinical safety of Modified Huozhi Decoction.5.In this study, the recorded data will be counted and analyzed by SPSS21.0 Software.Results:1.A total of 96 patients were enrolled in this clinical study,89 of whom completed clinical observation, there were 2 cases of shedding in the Combination group,1 case of shedding in the Chinese medicine group,4 cases of shedding in the Western medicine group, with a total shedding rate of 7.29%.2.Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in basic information(gender, age, course of disease),PSQI score, liver stiffness measurement,TCM syndrome score between the three groups(P>0.05).3.PSQI score: After the treatment, the PSQI scores of the three groups in the three stages decreased, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compare the PSQI scores decline among the three groups at each stage, the PSQI score of the Combination group(7.8±3.12)compared with the PSQI score of the Chinese medicine group(10.00±4.28)and the PSQI score(10.93±4.64)of the Western medicine group after 4 weeks of treatment has a significant decrease. It is statistically significant(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference between the PSQI score(7.70±3.39)of the Combination group and the PSQI score(8.23±3.91)of the Chinese medicine group(P>0.05).The PSQI scores of these two groups were lower than that of the Western medicine group(10.07±4.51),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference between the PSQI score(7.43±3.60)of the Combination group and the PSQI score(7.74±4.02)of the Chinese medicine group(P>0.05).The PSQI scores of these two groups were lower than that of the Western medicine group(9.89±4.35),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the three groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).However,a comparison of the significant rates found that the Combination group(66.7%)and the Chinese medicine group(61.3%)were not statistically significant(P>0.05),but these two groups were higher than the Western medicine group(35.7%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.TCM syndrome score: After the treatment, the TCM syndromes of the three groups decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the three groups between groups, there was no significant difference between the Combination group(10.20±7.18)and the Chinese medicine group(9.65±6.87)(P>0.05).The scores of the two groups compared with the Western medicine group(15.61±5.84)was reduced, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Liver stiffness measurement: After the treatment, the liver stiffness measurement of the three groups decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the three groups, there was no significant difference between the Combination group(11.17±2.79)and the Chinese medicine group(11.30±3.79)(P>0.05).The measurements of the two groups compared with the Western medicine group(15.89±3.31)was reduced, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.The total number of sleeping pills taken: The number of times in the Combination group(9.19±2.67)was less than that of the Western medicine group(15.82±3.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Recurrence rate: The difference in recurrence rate between the Combination group(8.69%)and the Chinese medicine group(17.39%)was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the recurrence rate of these two groups was lower than that of the Western medicine group(47.36%).It is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Taking Modified Huozhi Decoction can improve sleep for insomniacs with Chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis in compensatory period of the liver depressed and spleen weakness type, and reduce the frequency of taking Eszopiclone Tablets. It also can reduce the liver stiffness measurement.
