| purpose:This study uses Duhuojisheng Decoction combined with PNF technology to treat patients with knee osteoarthritis due to liver and kidney deficiency,observes the clinical effects of patients before and after treatment,and explores its possible mechanism of action,in order to provide reference for clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis.method:1.The study selects 68 patients with liver and kidney deficiency type knee osteoarthritis,who were admitted to be treated in the outpatient and ward hospitals from December 2019 to December 2020 by Fuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and these 68 patients are randomly divided them into 34 cases in the treatment group and 34 cases in the control group.2.Treatment group were given Conventional western medicine glucosamine,besides they also received additional treatment of Duhuojisheng Decoction combined with PNF technology,while the control group were treated with conventional western medicine.During the treatment,both groups took necessary patient education and basic functional exercises(Quadriceps isometric contraction training).The treatment time is 14 days for one course,with 2 consecutive courses of treatment.3.Observe the clinical symptoms of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,collect the VAS score,Berg balance scale score(BBS),30-second standing test(30CST),WOMAC score and safety indicators,analyse statistics,and compare the efficacy and safety of the treatments applied to the two groups.result:1.The treatment experiment was completed,with 32 cases in the treatment group,33 cases in the control group,and 3 cases dropping out of the treatment.Before treatment there had been no statistical difference in age,gender,course of disease,VAS score,BBS score,30 CST,WOMAC score,etc.between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The therapeutic efficiency of the treatment group is 87.50%,with 21 cases remarkably effectively treated,7 cases effectively treated,and 4 cases ineffectively treated.The therapeutic efficiency of the treatment group is 78.7%,with 6 cases remarkably effectively treated,20 cases effectively treated,and 7 cases ineffectively treated.It shows that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group is better than that of the control group,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There is a statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group before and after the VAS score(P<0.05),and the comparison of the VAS score between the two groups is also statistically different(P<0.05).It shows that the intervention measures are effective to relieve the the pain of knee osteoarthritis patients both of the treatment group and the control group,with better curative effect in the treatment group.4.The BBS scores in the treatment group and the control group are improved compared with the previous(P<0.05).Comparatively the improvement in the treatment group is better than that in the control group(P<0.05),which indicates that Duhuojisheng Decoction combined with PNF technology is more effective to improve patients’ balance function.5.The treatment in both groups is improved 30 CST,compared with previous treatment(P<0.05),with higher improvement degree of the treatment group(P<0.05).6.There is a statistical difference in WOMAC score between two groups before and after the treatment(P<0.05).It shows that the intervention measures applied to two groups are effective to improve the comprehensive function of the knee joint,with a better curative effect for the treatment group.7.There is no obvious abnormality in vital signs,electrocardiogram,and blood test of the two groups’ patients,which indicates the safety of Duhuojijie Decoction combined with PNF technology.conclusion:Duhuojisheng Decoction combined with PNF technology has a good clinical effect in the treatment of liver and kidney deficiency knee osteoarthritis.It can improve the clinical symptoms of patients,with little adverse reactions and great safety. |
