With the continuous advancement of medical system reform and grading diagnosis and treatment,family physicians play an increasingly important role in the primary health care system.However,due to the late start of general medicine in China,the low social recognition,the unreasonable occupational salary distribution system,and the serious brain drain,the number of family physicians is far from meeting the actual needs.Due to their professional characteristics,family physicians have to pay more energy and time than other specialists in order to have more comprehensive knowledge.However,the continued decline in professional recognition will lead to further loss of talents and lower job satisfaction.It can also lead to an increase in job burnout and willingness to leave,which in turn affects the quality of service and the stability of the team.Meanwhile,the research about family physicians’ is relatively lack,therefore this paper has the important practical significance.Based on the research of the situation of family physicians’ professional recognition and job satisfaction,this paper expounds the relevant theories and models about professional recognition and job satisfaction.Through questionnaire investigation and empirical analysis to reveal the relationship between two main factors,which can help author to put forward the reasonable and feasible suggestions to improve the professional recognition and job satisfaction.The study shows that the professional recognition of family physicians in Minhang District is acceptable,mainly from the four dimensions of role values,professional behavioral tendencies,professional values,and professional belonging.There are significant differences in the professional recognition of family physicians with different basic information.The job satisfaction of family physicians is general,and there is a significant difference in the satisfaction of family physicians with different basic information.The dimensions of professional recognition are related to the dimensions of job satisfaction.Through regression analysis,it is further found that the role value dimension in professional recognition plays a positive role in improving the dimensions of family physicians’ job satisfaction.Studies have shown that professional recognition of family physicians in Minhang District has a positive predictive effect on job satisfaction.Based on the empirical analysis,the author thinks that measures from talent building and pay distribution should be taken to find ways to enhance the professional stability and recognition of the family physicians,and improve the physical and mental health and job satisfaction of the individual.Provide a basis for the health administrative department to propose measures related to the health reform.
