Objectives:1.To investigate the correlation of early neurological dysfunction and prognosis with metabolic syndrome(MS)after ischemic stroke;2.To analyze the influence of different degrees of metabolic disorders on early neurological dysfunction and prognosis of after ischemic stroke. Methods:Patients with first onset of ischemic stroke admitted to the Department of Neurology of Qinghai Provincial People’s Hospital from November 2019 to July2020 were selected as the research subjects.A total of 161 patients who met the requirements of this study were screened out according to strict standards of sodium discharge.Collected clinical data including age, gender, height, weight, blood pressure, blood glucose,Triglyceride(TG),High-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and Body mass index(BMI).They were divided into MS group(n=58)and MS group(n=103).The early neurological impairment was assessed using the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS).Modified Rankin scale was used to evaluate the prognosis of patients.Results:1.The degree of early neurological impairment in MS group was significantly higher than that in patients without MS(P<0.05).2.The patients were complicated with different degrees of metabolic disorders, and there were differences in the degree of early neurological impairment after the disease(P<0.05).3.The degree of early neurological impairment in patients was correlated with MS(r_s=0.319),metabolic disorder(r_s=0.390),hypertension(r_s=0.191),hyperglycemia(r_s=0.293),BMI≥25kg/m~2(r_s=0.241),high TG(r_s=0.167),and low HDL-C(r_s=0.167)was positively correlated with the degree of early neurological impairment.4.Patients in MS group were more likely to have poor prognosis than those without MS(P<0.05).5.Patients with different degrees of metabolic disorders, the prognosis of the disease was different(P<0.05).6.The prognosis of patients was positively correlated with MS(r_s=0.369),the degree of metabolic disorders(r_s=0.427),hypertension(r_s=0.214),hyperglycemia(r_s=0.256),BMI≥25kg/m~2(r_s=0.349),and high TG(r_s=0.260).Conclusions:1.The early neurological dysfunction of ischemic stroke patients with MS in Xining was more serious than that of patients without MS;2.The prognosis of ischemic stroke patients with MS in Xining was worse than that of patients without MS;3.The more severe the degree of metabolic disorders, the more severe the early neurological dysfunction after the onset of the disease, and the more likely the patients are to have poor prognosis.
