ObjectivesThrough literature review, the construction method of mobile health application was mainly sorted out.Combined with the content of perioperative supportive care needs of cervical cancer patients, the draft of mobile health application for perioperative supportive care of cervical cancer patients was constructed.Through expert consultation and with the support of the software development team, the mobile health application of supportive care for perioperative cervical cancer patients was formed to explore the feasibility of preliminary clinical application and the impact on the supportive care needs, psychological distress and quality of life of patients.MethodsEight databases were retrieved, and the original studies on application construction in the field of smartphones were retrieved, the literature was screened for quality evaluation and analysis.Based on the results of preliminary supportive care needs assessment and literature review, the draft of mobile health application for perioperative supportive care for cervical cancer patients was constructed under the supportive care theory and multi-stage optimization strategy.Modify and improve the functional modules and contents of the mobile health application based on the expert consultation results. With the support of the software development team, the mobile health application was built.82 patients were included.Patients in the intervention group received m-health application intervention.Four scales were used when at day of admission(T0),discharge(T1)and 1 month after discharge(T2).Two-way repeated measurement ANOVA and other methods were used to compare the data changes.Results1.13 articles were analyzed through literature review, six articles were qualitative studies, three before-and-after studies,a randomized controlled trial study and 3 mixed studies, three mixed studies include before-and-after studies and qualitative studies, combining literature analysis results and previous research results, the draft of perioperative patients with cervical cancer supportive care mobile health application first were formed.2.Results of expert consultation: 10 experts were included.Expert authority coefficient was 0.840.The experts put forward their opinions on the content of professional support module, functions and modules, and the expert advice was included and fed back through the discussion of the research group. With the support of the software development team, the Android version of mobile health application for supportive care for perioperative cervical cancer patients was built. The patient side consists of five modules: rapid evaluation, professional support,my information and reminder area, the main functions of the management side include content pushing, data management, early warning value management, user rights, communication and interaction.3.Preliminary results: 82 patients were included..3.1 Comparison of scores of SCNs and SSCNS-G after intervention in two groups(1)Repeated measures ANOVA showed that scores of needs(except emotional needs)were statistically significant by time effect(P<0.05).The scores of informational needs were statistically significant by interaction effect(P<0.01).The score of informational needs, technical needs and specific needs were affected by grouping effect(P<0.05).(2)Pairwise comparison in intervention group showed that scores of total needs, technical needs, care coordination and communication needs at T1-T2 were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of two groups after intervention at T2,scores of needs(except emotional needs, care coordination and communication needs)were significantly significant(P<0.05),3.2 Comparison of scores of DT and FACT-Cx after intervention in two groups(1)The scores of psychological distress were affected by grouping effect in two groups(P<0.05).Scores of psychological distress in intervention group were not significant different(P>0.05).Scores of psychological distress were significantly different at T1 between 2 groups(P<0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in the total score of quality of life and the scores of various dimensions between the two groups at T1 and T2(P<0.05).4.Qualitative feedback results: A total of 5 patients completed the qualitative feedback, and the results suggested that the supportive care mobile health application met the needs of patients.Meanwhile, patients also put forward suggestions on the interface operation, intervention content and interactive support module.ConclusionBased on the results of research group’s previous needs assessment and literature review, under the supportive care theory and multi-stage optimization strategy,a preliminary draft of mobile health application for supportive care for perioperative cervical cancer patients was constructed.Through expert consultation and the support of the software development team, the mobile health application was formed, and the initial clinical application was actively carried out.The methods of construction and process are scientific, the application is targeted and operable, and the qualitative feedback results also provide a foundation for the subsequent sustainable application of intervention.
