Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Changyu Enema On Radiation Proctitis And Its Influence On The Levels Of IL-6 And IL-10 In Patients’ Serum

Objective: To compare the retention enema with dexamethasone,metronidazole and smecta mixture in treating radiation proctitis,and to evaluate the clinical efficacy and cure rate of the two groups before and after treatment,and to detect the contents of CRP,IL-6 and IL-10 in patients’ serum,so as to provide clinical reference for the comprehensive treatment of radiation proctitis in the future.Methods: This study selected 60 patients,aged 42-77 years,who were diagnosed as radiation proctitis from December 2019 to December 2020.According to the principle of random distribution,they were divided into treatment group and control group,each with 30 cases.The control group was given dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection10 mg,metronidazole 0.5g,smecta 3g and 0.9%normal saline 100 ml,and then heated to38-40℃ for retention enema once a night.The treatment group was given Changyu enema plus warm water 100 ml retention enema once a night.After 8 weeks of continuous treatment,both groups were given a reasonable,healthy and light diet under the guidance.The evaluation of TCM symptoms,Vienna rectoscopy score,fecal occult blood test grade,CRP,IL-6 and IL-10 content in serum were observed before and after treatment,and the clinical effective rate was determined.Results: 1.Before treatment,the data of age,sex and disease types of patients in the two groups were statistically analyzed.The calculated P values were all > 0.05,and there was no obvious difference between the two groups,so the data of the two groups were comparable.2.After 8 weeks of treatment,the evaluation of TCM symptoms,the score of Vienna rectoscope,the test of fecal occult blood,and the contents of CRP and IL-6 in serum of the two groups decreased significantly(P < 0.05),while the contents of IL-10 in serum increased significantly(P < 0.05).Statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences between the two groups in TCM symptom evaluation,Vienna rectoscopy score,stool occult blood test grade,serum CRP,IL-6,IL-10 content and total effective rate after 8 weeks of treatment(P < 0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group in symptom evaluation and clinical efficacy(P < 0.05).There were no side effects and adverse reactions in the two groups during treatment.3.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%.The total effective rate of control group was 86.67%.After statistical analysis,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion: Changyu enema is effective in treating radiation proctitis,and it is better than retention enema with dexamethasone,metronidazole and smecta mixture in improving the clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients.It is worthy of promotion in clinic.
