| Objective To analyze and evaluate risk factors of post-operative anastomotic leakage in esophageal cancer patients to provide a reliable basis for clinical work.Methods Retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of297 patients who admitted to our department for radical resection of esophageal carcinoma from January 2017 to December 2018.There were55femalesand242 males with an average age of 63.47±7.99 yearsold.The possible influencing factors were analyzed by univariate test and multivariate Logistic regression analysis.Results The incidence of post-operative anastomotic leakage was15.49% and the mortality was 6.52%,at an average time of 9.28±5.25 d.Univariate analysis showed that chemotherapy,diabetes,operative mode(traditionalopen surgery or minimally invasive sugery),level of anastomosis(cervical or intrathoracic),pulmonary infection and arrhythmia were associated with statistical significance in occurrence of anastomotic leakage(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that diabetes,pulmonary infection,chemotherapy and cervical anastomosis were independent risk factors of anastomotic leakage(P<0.05).Conclusion Diabetes,pulmonary infection,chemotherapy and cervical anastomosis can increase the risk of anastomotic leakage after radical resection of esophageal cancer. |
